Now my next question :) I've seen feathers used as a donejs api server before, and from what I understand feathers is a "drop in" replacement for express, right? Does that work with donejs though?
The chat app uses feathers on a different url/port iirc

Yeah, you can definitely use Feathers + DoneJS; that’s a common combination on Bitovi’s client projects.
You don’t have to run it on a different port or as a different server.

Yup! I just got it. From what it looks like you have to use @feathersjs/express in place of the original express

I haven't started using can-connect-feathers yet...but I did get the new version of feathers/express to work with done-ssr-middleware

@roemhildtg I also use can-connect-feathers version 2, I would like to move to version 3 eventually so if you have any shareable code fot that it would be great

Well, I haven't hooked this up to can-connect yet, but here's what I have so far with donejs/feathers 3
Gotta love github's auto generation for repo names :)
