hi guys, I would like to ask I do have a canjs project, and this already contains a lot of code. And suddenly I had an idea to create a mobile app which can be done using DoneJS. I've already create a sample donejs mobile app, but when I am trying to integrate the donejs to my existing canjs project, i encountered a lot of integration issues. but some of it I already addressed but the most major issue that I had is it can't recognize the "require", which used in canjs...
i've already tried to add the require npm but it has no effect.. I've been working on this for almost two days but I didn't get any solution on it.. can someone help me on this issue at least give me a better idea on how to resolve this issue.. thank you..

Hi guys, quick question. Whats a quick way of setting up a live-reloading dev server for canjs? Similar to webpack-dev-server I guess

Using done-serve (or just done-autorender) might be what you’re looking for.

Love DoneJS examples https://donejs.com/Guide.html
if you are using stealjs, there are all sorts of options too.

Yeah, I'll be using steal I think. Its nice since its basically set up for everything I need at the moment
I just can't use donejs, because the app I'm going to be working on won't have a server side component
Other than the iis file server of course
I suppose dev-bundles might be a better way to go

if you are using steal, definitely look at https://stealjs.com/docs/StealJS.development-bundles.html
it makes things SO MUCH FASTER!
after you npm install something new, dont forget to rebuild your dev bundle

+1, and adding a postinstall script to your package.json can help automate that away too

Right. Yeah I always forget about that option. Do you use live-reload with dev bundles?
Yes, +1 chasen good idea

[Also Gregg, you can start a new DoneJS app and just not depend on SSR. The generator creates development.html and production.html files for just loading stuff with steal.]

True, that would be another great option. And then it's configured for live-reload I believe, right?
