Student Proposal Submission period: March 12-27
Starting next week students will be able to submit their proposals via the program website. Each student may submit up to 3 proposals to the program. This is a change from last year when we allowed 5 proposals. They can submit multiple proposals to the same organization for different projects if they wish.
Historically, the students with the best proposals reach out to the orgs early to receive feedback before submitting their final proposal - those students who have already been reaching out to you are likely to be among your best student options this year.
Did you mean evaluation after the proposal has been accepted or evaluation of the proposal itself?... the above info is for proposals that have been accepted. As for timeline for proposals itself.. they get reviewed between: March 27, 2018 - April 23, 2018 .No projects are accepted for GSoC 2018 after April 23rd. You are welcome to submit them and contribute to OpenCensus, but it would be part of GSoC 2018 program. : I meant it would "not" be part of GSoC program if you submit outside the review period.
