are Mui components usable in a 100% width/height app (no scrolling)?
trying to do a "native like" layout
using flexbox preferably

@b0c1 to use Mui now I'd need that prepackaged JAR with React/MUI combined?

Not sure what you mean? If the default styling doesn't work for you, you can almost always override it

You would either need to use his webjar, or build a bundle yourself with webpack etc.

the Mui stuff doesn't have any layout of its own, right? Like Bootstrap has the responsive grid etc

Ah, yeah. Personally I mix it with flexboxgrid

ok
how about using Mui colors in my own components?
I'd like to use the dark theme :)

first you would have to set it to use the dark theme in the react context
then you could write a facade for the ThemeManager/theme and pull the colors for your own components

mui is defeinetly some extra work, turns out nicely though imo
also as far as colors go, make sure you check out mui.Utils.ColorManipulator and mui.Styles.Colors

I've been thinking, there is a really good start here for an awesome ui library for scalajs
someone just needs to put in the work to finish this up and get a good release out
and write some docs

quite surprised, just copied some example code from the demo :)
but yea, if you can actually get this published, that would be great
CI hates local SNAPSHOTs :)

@zlangbert you're free to do whatever you want of course
that said, I've been busy at work with this, im hoping to push my update to material-ui tonight or tomorrow - i have regenerated the whole thing
so another option is to help me test that :)
