I also agree that there's no benefit in having two documentations, there's no point in it and it can split the effort put into it. I see the current documentation as a documentation for the project, main ideas, architecture, how the code works etc. And I also see the SO as a place where people, who would never contribute to the documentation itself, would contribute to the recipes we can collect there. The entry barriers for official docs http://docs.cherrypy.org/
are quite high while the entry barriers for SO docs are quite low.
