Well however, im getting a illegal cookie name HTTPError: (400, 'Illegal cookie name x-ms-cpim-trans'). How can i force cherrypy to ignore cookies at all?

Looks like that change was made intentionally - cherrypy/cherrypy#868
Similarly reported - cherrypy/cherrypy#931

so seems like this can't be ignored at all

Currently, there’s no configuration for it, no.
But it’s also a problem that the error message is unclear.
That cookie name seems fine… it’s probably something about the value that’s triggering the error, and CherryPy is masking the true cause

In #1665, I’m releasing 12.0.2, which should give better output of what the actual value is that’s causing the error, which will help me assess whether CherryPy should have a feature to suppress errors on invalid cookies.

yes the value is a base64 string which has "=" in it. Thanks anyway! By the way is there any api reference where i can read all config options for example?

I suggest you file a ticket requesting such a feature, maybe title it “Suppress errors on invalid cookies” and describe your use-case and what you think should happen in that case (should cherrypy save the invalid cookie string somewhere, or should it simply discard it as if it wasn’t there, or …) ?
