Oh, wow. I didn’t realize you were looking to accept POST params in a distinct handler/endpoint. Nice work.
If you feel like the docs could be improved to help others have a better experience, do consider sending a pull request to the project. No obligation, though.

Hi Jason, I think I can contribute on the docs. I know that is less "sexy" for a lot of folks but it is an important part of a successful project.
So it looks to me like Cherrypy has a lot of broken links to wikis and stuff that used to exist but has move with no forwarding address or no longer exists. What would you like to see happen as far as creating a coherent set of docs for the object model and usage examples etc.?
I.e. I'm volunteering to work on the documentation, what do you want to see happen?

@Sonophoto: If there are broken links, it’s possible they just need updated to point to the new locations. The docs that are supported are those in the repo under docs/. Anything you can contribute that would have helped you or that would make the docs more coherent would be appreciated. No contrib is too small. If you get stuck on something, feel free to ask here. For example, if you find a broken link, point it out here and we can probably figure out where that link was meant to go.

@jaraco: So in reading the code I would suggest that the tutorial examples in the github repo at https://github.com/cherrypy/cherrypy/tree/master/cherrypy/tutorial are superior to the examples used at: http://docs.cherrypy.org/en/latest/tutorials.html. Perhaps I'm mistaken but serving a React SPA is not really a tutorial on how to create a server side cherrypy app.
