@Sonophoto if you'll have time for this, SphinX is able to refer certain lines of real python modules. you could fix rst to use this feature :)

@webknjaz So if I understand what you mean, have the tutorials in the documentation here: https://github.com/cherrypy/cherrypy/blob/master/docs/tutorials.rst, use and refer to the tutorial source code here: https://github.com/cherrypy/cherrypy/tree/master/cherrypy/tutorial ? I think that would be a good solution.

Thanks for improving the docu and stuff. We use cherrypy as base for the backend WebGUI in SmartHomeNG home automation project and it would be great if we had some deeper insight and some more samples at start.

@Sonophoto yes, this is a literalinclude feature I refer to (example usage): https://github.com/aio-libs/aiohttp/commit/49c5519fbc8841e4f25c675c80fc09bf5b54a202#diff-4d9b827ea9acd34bb46c7b7354630920R297

Please also note, that there's a separate docs location for WSGI + HTTP server: https://github.com/cherrypy/cheroot/tree/master/docs

Yeah, those docs for cheroot came as boilerplate from the skeleton project. Don’t feel obliged to use them… but if there are docs that are specific to cheroot, that’s where they’d go.

@bmp @webknjaz @jaraco Yeah this is something I would love to help out with. Here at work there was an issue getting a couple of people up to speed on using it for test rig interfaces so I understand what folks are wanting to get started. I can spend the day on this tomorrow. So I'm thinking fork, branch off master and PR the branches that is how you guys are working, Right? I really appreciate you guys keeping this framework alive, I'm happy to pitch in and help.
