i am having trouble doing what seems like the simplest of things sometimes. i just can't find the documentation i need, or something seems overly complicated
right now i want to have different log levels, is there an easy way? im told in documentation that cherrypy uses python logger, so how do i access that so i can just call .debug() or .info() etc.?

@ddan39 You can use logging.getLogger(‘some name’).info(msg). For that to be emitted, you’ll need to configure the root logger, so consider logging.basicConfig(). When you do that, you’ll start getting duplicate logs from cherrypy.error so you’ll want to disable log propagation. https://stackoverflow.com/a/27388910/70170
