so if I use tools.caching what are the appropriate parameters to tell it not to cache / ensure it sends no-cache to the client?
Thanks btw, that helps clarify some things I was wondering about
I've been using CherryPy in production since 2016 and happy, just caching of static files out of nowhere has me confused. I normally would rely on Apache or nginx to handle static files, but we're deploying a particular tool with only CherryPy alone.

@Giancarlos use expires tool with secs=0, as stated in this docstring: https://github.com/cherrypy/cherrypy/blob/master/cherrypy/lib/caching.py#L423-L446
caching tool does not set response such header
If you have non-standard requirements you might want to start writing your own tools :)
