Any way to get a debugger shown in the ChocolateyGui, mine just shows some powershell error quickly and then disappers when I try to update or delete a package
or a log

@gep13 @ferventcoder finally getting around to having some free time to bang out chocolatey gui
First big focus is getting our dependencies up to do, trimming unused code and dependencies, updating theming, and making sure we don't have any loose UI bugs or exceptions.
Also gonna nuke our issues, lots of dated issues and requests.

I think a lot of our bugs in the issue log come down to "ChocolateyGUI was making a lot of assumptions on how to chat with choco"

@gep13 @ferventcoder I'm tempted to say that in the short term, ChocolateyGUI is going to focus on one thing and one thing only: Viewing and Managing Chocolatey Packages, specifically those from and to chocolatey feeds. Going to say no, for now, to supporting any of Chocolatey's more exotic features like managing Windows Features, Web PI and such

makes sense to me

There we go. I think that's a much more reasonable milestone: https://github.com/chocolatey/ChocolateyGUI/milestones/0.14.0

@ferventcoder Is there an efficient way to get the latest version of locally installed packages through the API? Currently we're just calling List/GetLatest on each package individually :P
Rob Reynolds

List - localonly

It's not the most efficient means, but it works and doesn't take down dot org

@ferventcoder @gep13 One last ping: what's the story behind CLA's at this point?
Rob Reynolds
@ferventcoder
Jun 02 2016 21:18
For GUI? To add you need to get signoff from all past contributors or rewrite them out of the code base
Hopefully that makes sense
I mean I'm not sure on this legally - I know if you wanted to change licensing you would need to do exactly that
Without a CLA in place
You can prolly introduce and require all future contributions to sign with any legal issues
But you still need to retroactively apply it to give you full authority to make decisions like changing the license - not that you would - it is apache 2 I assume? That provides quite a bit of protection already - the CLA just adds to that
Def want it though
To sign without worry of any legal issues I mean

I think we were briefly under choco's CLA. Will need to figure that out....
