Is there a build of ChocolateyGUI somewhere from the current source? The mentioned choco install ChocolateyGUI -source https://www.myget.org/F/chocolateygui/ -pre in the readme seems to install an older version (eg. without rebranded UI).

@pascalberger hmm, it certainly "should" be there...
@pascalberger hmm, something has changed, but I can't remember the reasoning
try using https://www.myget.org/F/packages_develop/api/v2
rather than what you have above
that should get you the latest/greatest
either our docs need to be updated, or we need to switch to the other feed :-D

Thanks @gep13! This gets me v0.14.0-unstable0143, but installation fails with the following error:
Installing ChocolateyGUI.msi...
WARNING: Write-ChocolateyFailure is deprecated and will be removed in v2. If you are the package maintainer, please use 'throw $_.Exception' instead.
ERROR: Running ["C:\Windows\System32\msiexec.exe" /i "C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\lib\ChocolateyGUI\tools\ChocolateyGUI.msi" /quiet] was not successful. Exit code was '1603'. See log for possible error messages.
The install of chocolateygui was NOT successful.
Error while running 'C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\lib\ChocolateyGUI\tools\chocolateyInstall.ps1'.
See log for details.
Is this a know issue or should I open a GitHub issue?

not a known issue by me, no, but perhaps by @RichiCoder1
did you already have ChocolateyGUI installed?
it could be an issue with upgrading an existing installation
I know that there was some refactoring of the WiX installer as part of the recent work
that might have caused some problems

I had it installed, but run choco uninstallfirst

Dec 19 2016 11:21
hmm, interesting...
yeah, perhaps raise an issue for further discussion
if you run the MSI directly, do you get anything helpful?

Created chocolatey/ChocolateyGUI#350. Seems like an issue that ChocolateyGUI couldn't find Chocolatey
Error is: Chocolatey must already be installed.

@gep13 I was gonna mentioned that https://www.myget.org/F/chocolateygui/api/v2 wasn't pushing dev packages. When did we switch too: https://www.myget.org/F/packages_develop/api/v2? If this is a longer term thing, can I get push access plz

I will have to do some digging into when/where I made that switch. Not convinced it is the best idea. Probably best to keep chocolateygui on it's own feed
will try to look at this tongiht, and decide what my thought process was :-D

I thought's that why we have https://www.myget.org/F/chocolateygui_master/api/v2 xD
Oh neat. Is packages_develop a personal dev-feed of yours Gary? Seein a lot of packages.

yes, that is my own feed on MyGet. I use it as a default for any repo that isn't under an org. I must have, at some point, moved ChocolateyGUI onto it, but I think it makes sense for ChocolateyGUI to remain on it's own standalone feed

@gep13 Agreed
@pascalberger Pushed (again). Let me know that one treats yah. Should be showing up shortly.

 December 16, 2016 2:54 AM Summary - I'd say that is good to maybe include on the list view (with fallback to first x lines of description)? And leave it out of the package view.
