    @msh100
    I assumed that’s the one you meant as you linked to it before
    That’s why you need it right? you want to upload changed file?
    Rudde
    @Rudde
    yes
    Marcus Stewart Hughes
    @msh100
    Then I’d suggest you just cache locally the time you upload a file
    Then upload files with a newer modification date than that
    MD5ing on the other hand is very expensive, no point in it
    Rudde
    @Rudde
    Yeah
    but I don't want to upload all the identical files
    wich would be WAY more expensive
    Marcus Stewart Hughes
    @msh100
    Depends
    Rudde
    @Rudde
    No that doesn't depend
    it is WAY more expensive
    Marcus Stewart Hughes
    @msh100
    If you md5 AND upload, that’s more than just uploading
    so no, it depends.
    I’d just rely on modification times if I were you, then you wouldnt need to MD5 or upload identical files
    providing you’re not copying unmodified files, but union is smarter than that
    Rudde
    @Rudde
    Well I have 3-4-5 TB of unchanged data and maybe 50M til 5G of chaned data
    And I don't want it to md5 files not modified sicne last md5 check.
    Marcus Stewart Hughes
    @msh100
    So? check last modified dates
    I dont see your problem
    I don’t think you should MD5 files at all
    So what I think you’re saying is if there is a new file locally, MD5 and store in a cache, then upload if the MD5 mismatches the version on acd (which may not exist). When modification date increases, reupload?
    Rudde
    @Rudde
    And then again how do I see that from acd?
    and again I'm asking how do I do that with acd_cli upload
    memoz
    @memoz
    According to #58 , acd is yet to support mtime.
    acd_cli...
    Rudde
    @Rudde
    What exacly is the difference between this fork of acd_cli and the original from yadayada?
    yadayada
    @yadayada
    Hi, folks. Please move future conversations to https://gitter.im/yadayada/acd_cli.
