Hi everyone! My name is He Zhiqi, a junior CS undergraduate in BUPT, Beijing, China. I have learned certain knowledge on NLP and Python, and I would love to extend CLTK core to new language, namely Classical Chinese . I would love to receive guidance from everyone here, and I will make contact with Mentor Kyle P. Johnson, Ph.D. as soon as possible. Again, nice meeting all of you here and hope I cn be a part of this project!

Hi everyone. My name is Shubham Tripathi, A junior IT Undergraduate from Nagpur , India. I have a intermediate knowledge of C and Python. I am interested in Computational Linguistics since school and have done a lot of reading and understanding about it. Although, I have never applied it. This project might be a great opportunity to learn Open Source and Natural Language Processing.

Hi guys! This is Esther and I am currently a freshman at Duke intending to major in CS and minor in history:) I just discovered this program two days ago and immediately fell in love with the idea. Originally from Beijing, I am very interested in technology and Classical languages, particularly Chinese and Greek. I have intermediate-level Javascript programming knowledge and hoping to get more real world programming experience. Finally, I want to thank CLTK for offering this opportunity and hope to contribute to this community!!!

@codestorm5389 and @wwang4768 Time to turn in an application is dwindling. The mentors will likely not have time to personally suggest ideas for your project, however you can still turn in a high-quality application. Just make sure to read the project descriptions well and adhere to the proposal template

@ykl7 The mentors have already spent a lot of time with your application. You should not use public channels to "remind" us.
