@tmcgee
@triesco I haven't thought about that widget in a very long time. With a quick look, I see a number of potential issues in the dojoConfig and GoogleNearby.js files that might introduce some conflicts. The widget wants to load versions of dgrid, dstore, proj4js and Google Maps API that are different than what is included with Esri JS API and CMV. Hard for me to say if those unique versions are explicitly needed. My gut instinct is they are not...
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
@duckblaster Not sure if it will make any difference but there is a newer version of that Measure widget found here
duckblaster
@duckblaster
Nope, the problem was in the jimu.js parts, not the widget itself
main reason was wanting a better draw widget initially
and that one was much better that the cmv one we are using
measurements of multiple shapes, undo/redo/clear, colour choice, ...
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
FWIW, I built a WAB Measurement widget for a client that needed more. It started from that widget and does quite a bit more (choice of units per shape, list of drawn features, copy existing feature, export features, add to drawing from identified feature). It probably suffers from the same issue since it uses the same jimu dijits.
image.png
The undo/redo is removed since that confused the client but I believe the code is still there. I am allowed to share it back to the community so I will put together a repo with the requisite widgets and config. Somebody might find it useful...
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
@duckblaster For clarity, you provided CSS AND JS. My understanding is that with the CSS, the JS is not required. Is that correct?
duckblaster
@duckblaster
for the color picker bug fix? the css fixes the bug, the js is the existing code that is broken
the js before the css is for the layer bugs, and is more a hacky workaround than a proper fix
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
@duckblaster yes, the color picker bug. Thanks for confirming the CSS is the entire fix.
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
@duckblaster So others can profit, I added the CSS cmv/cmv-wab-widgets@38d444e to fix the color picker bug.

@duckblaster
Cool, I considered creating a pull request, but was feeling lazy

I wonder if CMV developers and users would meet at Esri UC this year.
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
@knozaki2001 There may be others here attending the UC so it could be worth pursuing. I will not be. There have been formal and informal meetups of CMV developers at the Developer Summit each year since 2015.

@triesco
Is there a way to add a feature collection layer from a result from another widget to the TOC dynamically??
Tim McGee
@tmcgee

@triesco Yes as long as the layerControl supports the layer type.

The layerControl widget subscribes to the layerControl/addLayerControls and layerControl/removeLayerControls topics. Here is how it is used in my AttributesTable widget: https://github.com/tmcgee/cmv-widgets/blob/d43701a426c1f49bb64eaf833e9659b225d35dea/widgets/AttributesTable/_GraphicsMixin.js#L792-L827

@tmcgee I'm looking at your Export widget, but I'm working in WAB. Have any pointers for making a Feature Action in WAB Query widget that can export to KML or SHP? I can setup Feature Actions. Anyone else tried this? Do you think your code can be repurposed like this?
fvwk47
@fvwk47
@tmcgee is there a list of supported browser(s) and versions for CMV?
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
@fvwk47 The CMV core application supports the same browsers as the Esri ArcGIS API. Contributed widgets may not provide the same level of support.
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
@dgoldb2 That's an interesting idea. I am pretty sure you could use a Feature Action to send the features to the Export widget by publishing a dojo topic from within the onExecute method of the action. The unknown for me is how you would include the Export widget itself within a WAB Application and how it might appear in the User Interface using a WAB theme's CSS. Never tried that.

@duckblaster
Any idea what would be needed to allow the identify popups to be dragged around the screen?
We have got a request for that behavior, and wondered what would be needed to add it
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
draggable: true,
Already supported
duckblaster
@duckblaster
Thanks, that was easier than expected. Any idea why that is not the default?
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
Simply because the option was not available for the first few years of the project. The decision was to make it opt-in so as not to change existing applications that were upgraded. Some find it annoying when the pop-up bounces back to the location when using the arrow buttons to scroll through identified features.
triesco
@triesco
Hello @tmcgee Thanks for the reply on adding layers to TOC dynamically. It actually works with your example. However, if the TOC is not open by default it wont add the layer. Any idea that it could work without having to open de TOC by deafult. Perhaps opening the TOC when addin the layer function ends?
Tim McGee
@tmcgee
@triesco you can use preload: true, in the configuration of the layerControl widget to ensure that widget is loaded even if the titlePane is not open.
triesco
@triesco
@tmcgee that did the trick. Thanks again for the advice. Working great!

Hi to all. I need some help with cmv. My attaches during edit objects loads, but not save. What i miss?
Denverino
@Denverino
One thing i found. Attaches are saved in database! But in identify or editor widgets (secondary opend) not visible.
Denverino
@Denverino
Sorry. I fixed it. My layer was not be versioned.

@Denverino
Hi. Can anybody help me to config editor widget? I need to add some fields editable and some no editable. Now i try like
editorLayerInfos: {
             fieldInfos: [{
                                    field: 'lpu_answer', label : 'LPU Answer'
                                     },
                                     {
                                    field: 'lpu_incident_status', label : 'LPU incident status'
                                     }
                                   ]}
But this not working. I see nothing in the attributes.

Hi. Do you have a plugin that supports raster calculations (maths)? If not, do you have any pointers on getting started with this?

Hi @tmcgee wondering with your search widget & attribute table is it possible to apply an additional filter on an attribute table that's already been rendered? I'm really thinking in the context of related tables. What I'd like to be able to do is make a search on a spatial feature layer, then show its resulting related records in the attribute table and then further filter that. Thinking to use in conjunction with @roemhildtg 's RelationshipTable widget.

@jefferson3 Coming along with a big update planned for April (fingers crossed) the default size for a mobile sidebar panel will be half the height of the screen.:
