@abhsag24 could you help me out on how AnnotationsBear would help finish my VariableCasingBear? From what I've understood, AnnotationBear makes it a whole lot easier to find comment and string ranges. But my requirements are getting everything but keywords.
Would it be possible to be get a negative of the results? That'd partially match my criteria (I only need to remove strings (I've implemented something similar in the current PR state, but it's better to use AnnotationsBear here), but the comments need to stay)
Because the comments may frequently refer to the code content. So basically what I want is everything except strings :)

@hypothesist the AnnotationBear result's contents are in the form of a dictionary with keys of 'comments' and 'strings'
so you want everything but strings? wouldnt it be way to easy to calculate now when you've got all the places where there is a string?

So subtracting the strings from the files should do it I think. Now I need to figure out how to do that

or you could change your algo everywhere to keep it in this form?

Keep it in which form? the way the pr currently is?

no i meant you can use the results in this form and change your implementation according to the results, that would be harder i guess but that'd be more cleaner, more "native" right :P? (guessing)
