@satwikkansal In the first assertion error

AssertionError: 'C:\\projects\\coala-quickstart\\tests\\generation\\file_globs_testfiles\\src\\file.c' not found in ['c:\\projects\\coala-quickstart\\tests\\generation\\file_globs_testfiles\\root.c', 'c:\\projects\\coala-quickstart\\tests\\generation\\file_globs_testfiles\\src\\file.c']

The "C:\" is not the same as "c:\" in list, uppercase-lowercase, could you give it a try with:

self.assertIn(os.path.join(os.getcwd(), "src", "file.c").lower() , res)

Hi @yash-nisar :) @jayvdb told me that you had the same CircleCI problem on building docs:

Warning, treated as error:
/home/ubuntu/coala-bears/docs/API/bears.c_languages.rst:57:error while formatting arguments for bears.c_languages.ClangBear.ClangBear.run: Optional[t] requires a single type. Got <function typed_list.<locals>.<lambda> at 0x2acae1fda2f0>.

Any solution? :)

And a general question btw: Do we really want to have all bear class members in the bears docs? Since all @linter bears lack their members anyway in the docs...

@userzimmermann the run method is the important one.
And no, if we knew the solution, @yash-nisar 's patch would be fixed.
It is holding up lots of other issues

Hey @jayvdb . I can't understand the _DotAddressableWrapper stuff. Can I get some link to read some related stuff and learn :smile: . Everything else looks good.

The key is understanding how getattr() works, and then there are significant differences in versions before 3.5
