@abhishalya the missing module is a part of the pytest-cov dependency and it's already installed. I don't why I am getting such errors. Could you please tell me why installed the way you suggested didn't throw the error. Or why did you think that it would work out that way. Perhaps it could help me with this error

The requirements.txt and test-requirements.txt contains the list of all dependencies which can be installed via pip. If due to some error they are not properly installed, we install them manually (like above). So if you have something missing, just install it manually.

@abhishalya the main I am facing is that everything installed. If I run the test it throws ModuleNotFound error for the 'packaging' dependency, but it's installed you can see it here https://pastebin.com/uagXXgs3

While installing coala using --pre command, the requirements are installed following the latest requirements file or one uploaded on PyPI?
Does anyone knows about this?

—pre tag doesn’t work, clone the repo and install everything from cd
