hiya, has any of you guys had to install Drush(Drupal) on a windows? (and been successful with it)

Looking at composer it's still in Alpha 1.0.0-alpha10 (2015-04-14) ... I personally wouldn't recommend using alpha software unless you're testing something for bugs or for that company. Others may disagree have other opinions. https://getcomposer.org/download/
The Drupal site recommends "You should find a link to a Windows installer there. Here is the current link (as of 28 January 2015):

Hope that helps you in some way! Otherwise no I haven't run a Windows install of drupal for a long time.

Unless you're some l337 hacker I'd be very careful with pre-alphas and alphas. Betas are maybe acceptable. Release candidates the ideal thing to go for.

drush is downloading and unzipping modules where I want to, it just refuses to do anything else. Seems like other people's solution's not working for me
