@reedns @philipqnguyen awesome to see you guys pushing this along! For what it’s worth: previous discussions led us to believe mentors and mentees should be able to terminate their relationships (could happen for any number of reasons), but it should probably require a confirmation by admin. Not sure if that’s relevant to what you’re working on, but I hope it helps.
Let me know if I can answer any questions about what we did or where things are from the previous effort.

@brookr here are the env variables: address: ENV['SES_ADDRESS'], ENV['SES_USERNAME'], ENV['SES_PASSWORD'].

@bwstud Thank you! We are wrapping up our work for this week in about an hour. The UI looks really good!
@brookr I am not sure I configured the email correctly for AWS SES. The documentation wasn't that great or my understanding of wasn't that great. Someone should probably check it out in config/environments/production.rb

Reed, did you try with your own SES settings in dev or a staging env?
We may not be able to get this totally wired up today, but I can work on it next week.

I didn't. I haven't signed up for SES.

You interested in getting it workign with me next week?
If you've registered for free AWS credits, it won't cost you a thing to run some tests.

Sure, that sounds good.
I think I did sign up for the free credits.
