SEATTLE - Traffic is quickly backing up during the Thursday morning commute after an expansion joint failed on Interstate 5.

As of 8 a.m., the backup extended about 11 miles, and the estimated travel time from Alderwood to Southcenter was nearly two hours via I-5.

Oy.

yuk
I was actually getting online to say I’m fighting off a cold and going to work from home anyway until 11am.
I really enjoyed pair programming with project teams yesterday, and am happy to help remotely. If you use Screenhero.com it’s quite productive. (Mac only, unfortunately)
looks like they support Windows now, actually

Our friends at DevLocal (the ryans, mel and the formidable labs crew) are having a Developer Happy Hour TOMORROW (Friday and every future friday) - that you are all invited to.

The purpose is to bring together developers from different communities (PHP, Ruby, etc) and different parts of Seattle to get to know one another and celebrate the end of another week of changing the world through code. The beer is being graciously sponsored by SendGrid.

RSVP here:
