What do all those characters in the version string mean? Check out https://github.com/isaacs/node-semver#ranges
apparently you can put in a key of “//“ for comments, but I haven’t seen it used a lot. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14221579/how-do-i-add-comments-to-package-json-for-npm-install
