Another resource for learning angularjs: https://thinkster.io/
It uses the Orielly angular book. I’m using the ng-book with it.

@david-davidson

hey fellow grads,

I'm trying to clean up my github, which means making sure that "popular repositories" includes more than just random class projects ("cf-jsonApi," etc.). I bet you're trying to do the same thing.

So, would you mind starring the following repos?
https://github.com/Sextant-WDB/sextant-ng
https://github.com/david-davidson/SublimeScript
https://github.com/david-davidson/linktagger.py
https://github.com/david-davidson/makeRepo.sh
https://github.com/david-davidson/Data-Structures-Algorithms-Javascript
https://github.com/david-davidson/DavidDavidson.io

I'm happy to star your favorite repos in return!

Ivan Storck
@ivanoats
done! you should post in http://gitter.im/codefellows/javascript too - great idea for everyone. Also LinkedIn endoresements…

Oh sup SEAB20, is anyone interested in working for Amazon? There's a recruiter who really, really wants referrals (three different FT contract-to-hire positions), and he says they tend to hire CF grads directly--i.e., w/o the contract part. Shoot me a message if you're interested
(will drop this in /javascript later, but figured I'd come here first)
Joaquin Guardado
@macikokoro
@david-davidson Sign me up :)

Morning, sea-b20--anyone looking for part-time contract work?
I know someone who's looking for help:
"We are looking for a junior level developer for 10 to 20 hours of full-stack javascript work a week. The application stack is angularJS, Node, Express, and MongoDB and is a map based application relying on the Google Maps API.

The most important qualification is experience with front-end development using Angular and experience using Git/Github followed be previous experience with the Google Maps API. Experience in the rest of the stack is beneficial but not strictly required.

You would be working under the supervision of another contract developer who will be reviewing all pull requests and providing guidance and assistance when needed."
