    Hey Jonah in the rebuild a site assignment are we supposed to turn in kinda the structure of a site? The blocks/squares of a site like this? https://www.google.com/search?q=semantic+html5+structure&source=lnms&tbm=isch

    @jonahkirangi
    @EricGraeve yeah, I think you have the idea. The assignments wants you to take the blocks/squares of a site like that and outline it in HTML. You can include text in the various sections/divs so that you see how the HTML page is laid out in a browser.
    @EricGraeve the outline structure should look somewhat similar to this
    https://github.com/edohert/Outline/blob/master/htmlStructure.html?ts=2
    @EricGraeve but make sure you're going through and understanding what each tag and is doing. Try adding/removing various tags and see what the output is in your browser. And, of course, update the content with your own.

    Ya im not copying and pasting im typing it all out. I m using the x-ray goggles but it keeps showing me the tag <div> im a little confused what that is I read its kinda like a <section> but a little different for HTML5. Should I be putting this in a .text or .HTML?
    Jonah Kirangi
    @jonahkirangi

    @EricGraeve <div> and <section> are quite similar. Section just means that the content inside is all related. As in one particular topic or group -- a product description, blog post, or a list of locations, etc. Div is a tag for specifying attributes within it. So everything in a div would have similar styling, color, etc.

    And you'll want to save your file as .html

    @EricGraeve a good description is located here:

    @jonahkirangi
    @EricGraeve have you been able to push your your repo (project) up to Github? If so, you should be able to copy the URL to that repo and submit it in Canvas.

    @jonahkirangi Do you have a couple min?
    EricGraeve
    @EricGraeve
    Do you need to do git pull when just adding(git add "filename.html")?
