    @xdothackerx Hey there! I just sat down to see if I can make my page more interactive. Right now all I have is the prompt changing based on user input for the guessing game.
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    Can I see your code?
    @rkudrna Got it on github or something? :)
    :smile: I finally got a push figured out - hooray!
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    Yay!
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    I'm going to have to go in a few minutes but I'll be working on it tomorrow.
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    It's looking great so far!
    What were you trying to do that you needed help with?
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    Ah, good. I think I'm having some trouble in my CSS file. I was trying to add a hover effect to the Submit button but didn't get there.
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    Hmm, looks like your Sublime might still be putting in 4 spaces for tabs instead of two.
    Were you able to set up your preferences file?
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    oh, yeah! still need to tweak that. I'll open it now
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    Cool.
    Okayyyy hover effect, hmmmm
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    What do I add to make that particular change? The 2 spaces?
    I have this:
    "translate_tabs_to_spaces": true
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    That's good, but there should also be one that says "tab_size" or something
    Okay, for your hover effect, you're saying you want to add it but you just didn't get to it yet?
    Or, you need help figuring out how to add it?
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    I monkeyed with it earlier tonight but I think I deleted what I had, so help figuring it out would be great. I started with something like:
    hover: #submit
    or something. Now I can't remember exactly what I tried
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    lol
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    :)
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    Hmmmm...
    Let me mess with it a bit and then think of a hint for you. XD
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    sounds great. I'll tackle it in the morning.
    For now, goodnight!
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    Okay!
    You're pretty close with what you said you had, actually.
    It's all the right stuff, just in the wrong order.
    Hope that's enough of a hint... haha
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    Hey @xdothackerx , I'm working away on my sorting assignment and running into some conceptual questions. Are you around?
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    Sure @rkudrna, what's the problem? :)
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    I'm thinking about how to execute my sort. I'm going to update my github with my code so we can look at the same thing
    I can also share snippets along the way if that's simpler. :)
    I'm making a <ul> of objects using jQuery as soon as my page loads. I used a constructor to make a bunch of Fruits
    Now that I have my Fruits I want to sort them. I want to have two buttons on the page. One that will sort them by calories, one that will sort them by gLoad.
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    ...
    so, here's where I get confused
    I need to make an array of Fruits
    I can do that by passing my variable names into an array, but that doesn't seem to be an interaction with the DOM. Right?
    I'm thinking there's a way to query for all <li>s, but will they maintain their status as objects with properties I can sort them by?
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    Uhhh give me a minute to download all your stuff and take a look. XD
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    sure thing. :) Let me know when you've had a chance to take a peek.
    Samantha Camus
    @xdothackerx
    Is there a reason why you want to query the DOM for the fruit objects instead of just adding them to an array when they're instantiated?
    Rachel Kudrna
    @rkudrna
    I'm thinking of adding an animation of the sorting. Can I do that when I'm just adding them to the array in the js file?
