    In the crosswalk.csv I've noticed you have Debian Package Metadata and you don't have debtags, was it on purpose? or nobody listed debtags yet?
    Daniel S. Katz
    @danielskatz
    I expect @mbjones or @cboettig will answer when it gets a little later on the west coast
    Morane Gruenpeter
    @moranegg
    well another question came up: is there a reason why DOAP isn't in the crosswalk.csv?
    Daniel S. Katz
    @danielskatz
    I’m fairly sure we’ve talked about it, but I don’t know the answer.
    @all, any comments for @moranegg ?

    @moranegg
    Anyway, thanks for your responses..

    I’m not sure if @mbjones, @cboettig, or @gothub have been in here in a while… if they don’t respond, a more reliable way to get their attention is by filing an issue on the GitHub repo

    @all Do zenodo and figshare now support code meta, such that the DataCite metadata is correctly populated etc.?
    Any other examples of adoption? Thanks
    Matt Jones
    @mbjones
    pretty cool!
    thanks @rcpeters for pointing it out

    Hi @all. We're working on an implementation of the CodeMeta crosswalk for NPM packages https://codemeta.github.io/crosswalk/node/. We couldn't find anything out there already so we thought we would spin it out as a separate package. Just wanted to check here first to see if anyone knows of an existing implementation.

    @moranegg
    Hi @nokome, at Software Heritage we are translating package.json files into codemeta using the crosswalk table, but I'm not sure this is compatible with your use case which I imagine to be "generating a codemeta.json file for a NPM package".
    Nokome Bentley
    @nokome
    Hi @moranegg : thanks for the info. Given it seems that there isn't anything out there already, we'll try to take the time to publish our implementation as a package on NPM
    Morane Gruenpeter
    @moranegg
    Sounds great ! if you can put a link to the repo or NPM package when it is published that would be awesome.

    Hi Abby. :)
    So I'm giving a talk at Open Science Days in a couple weeks and I'm working on my slides. The topic for the conference is research software: http://osd.mpdl.mpg.de
    I'm planning on mentioning CodeMeta.
    Mainly I'll be talking about Dataverse and how we're starting to get more into software rather than just datasets.
    Philip Durbin
    @pdurbin
    I guess I'll show a couple examples of CodeMeta crosswalks, for GitHub and DataCite probably. Are there other stories to tell? Any real world implementations yet? Can you download software metadata in CodeMeta format from anywhere?
    Philip Durbin
    @pdurbin
    "CaltechDATA now supports CodeMeta" and a supported content type on DataCite. Thanks!
    Daniel S. Katz
    @danielskatz
    This will likely come up in http://urssi.us/workshops/santa-barbara/ tomorrow too. Some attendees might have more examples
    Philip Durbin
    @pdurbin
    @danielskatz very cool. Thanks!

    Hi guys, could someone point me out how to get the metadata from a package on cran?
    Matt Jones
    @mbjones
    have you looked at the codemetar package from ROpenSci? https://github.com/ropensci/codemetar

    @sdruskat
    Hi all, I have a few questions regarding the crosswalk for the new Citation File Format version 1.2.0. If you can find some time to look at them at some point, that'd help immensely. Thanks! https://github.com/codemeta/codemeta/pull/263#issuecomment-895860361
