Any critical bugs that still need to be fixed?
I will pull in l10n stuff on Mon/Tues

Although, do you guys think we should push back the release date if we are still missing some strings for previously added locales?

Maybe #283? Was intended as a fix for your Flame.
Have you tested things on all new platforms? Can I do so as well?

Sure

How?

Because of some computer problems, I am not able to test on Chrome/IE/Safari
I can however test on FFOS and Firefox Desktop
How can you test it?

Yeah, I mean how can I test as a packaged Firefox Desktop app, and how can I test it on Android (you were going to enable Android right?)
I'd assume you'd need to create a Firefox marketplace server and upload it to that, and install it from there?

IIRC you can push a packaged app to your android device using webide

I should make a small script for it

I don't think you should push back because of missing strings, I don't think extra time will help that much
Ideally we would have some sort of beta version which people can opt into

Clarify?

Well, if the missing strings are in a version that some people use maybe they would feel like translating them, if they know they are missing

Makes sense
Also, I figured out the 404 error
GitHub does not include submodules in its repository zip

Not sure if critical, but two bugs in raw mode:
  • If you select from right to left (mouse) or scroll horizontally (touch) the menu opens. I actually think the latter is not bad, if you didn't have to scroll horizontally.
  • Like you can't select in the last line on mobile, you can't select in the first on desktop

I don't really like the simulator branch, since it puts all scripts and styles in a giant blob, breaking debugging
But if you want it anyway, feel free to cherry-pick it, I can push to codexa/firetext/simulator if you'd like

Please do push the simulator branch!
