I propose that we remove the code editor for html files. This feature is somewhat hard to maintain, and I don't think many people use it (on mobile at least).
What do you think?

Yeah. I used it a couple times, but we should probably just add features instead, e.g. I used it for font size. Also CodeMirror is pretty heavy size-wise.

Should we retain the code editor for text/plain documents?
So the user can edit code files like .css on their device?

Well, the hard part is the integration, I think. On Airborn, you have access to app sources through device storage, which could be useful

What do you mean by integration?

Well, for "real" development, with GitHub, or a command line where you can run build scripts... For editing apps on FFOS/Airborn OS, having access to the files

oh, you think Firetext should be an ide?

Oh, I don't know, I just think that if we build the text editor, it should have a use. I.e. "do people want to edit js files on their sd card and why?"
If not, I'd rather leave it to another app (e.g., an ide)

IMO the latter is better
Because Firetext's current goal IMO is to be a word processor, not an IDE

Yep, I agree
