    Hi Ranjith,
    first of all, thank you very much for your help!
    I told you in my second post something about my 'overwriting-problem'. I don't want to rename the heading. Is there also another solution?
    You said that I can make author an array and push them. Unfortunatey I didn't understand it. Can you help me please?

    Hi Melih, Here's how you can make author an array and push values into it.
    Public Sub exceltonestedjson()
    Dim rng As Range, items As New Collection, myitem As New Dictionary, subitem As New Dictionary, i As Integer, cell As Variant
    Dim authors As New Collection
    Set rng = Range("A2:A3")
    'Set rng = Range(Sheets(2).Range("A2"), Sheets(2).Range("A2").End(xlDown)) use this for dynamic range
    i = 0
    For Each cell In rng
    Debug.Print (cell.Value)
    myitem("name") = cell.Value
    authors.Add cell.Offset(0, 1).Value
    authors.Add cell.Offset(0, 2).Value
    myitem.Add "author", authors
    items.Add myitem
    Set myitem = Nothing
    Set authors = Nothing
    i = i + 1
    Next
    Sheets(2).Range("A4").Value = ConvertToJson(items, Whitespace:=2)
    End Sub

    Hi Ranjith,
    can you help me with my next problem, please?
    If I want to convert a column with data like:
    myitem("date") = cell.Offset(0, 10).Value
    the format looks like: "date": "2016-06-15T08:57:00.000Z"
    How can I change the format to get "15.06.2016T08:57:00Z" ??
