I am trying to construct a functional brain network from EEG data (nodes from AAL)
to my knowledge, the current method for constructing functional brain network from EEG data is based on correlation / coherent between electrodes. These networks then later analysed using network metrics and models such as MST. However, there is many different reports of network metrics changes within the same context of a brain disease (say Alzheimer Disease)
I would like to use probabilistic inference to construct a higher spatial resolution mapping of a brain network from EEG data
right now I'm exploring toolboxes
that's why I hope I can receive some advice from experts like you. I will tell you if there is a need for functionality from your package. I also hope that I can contribute to this package too.
Could you tell me how did you start exploring EEG data? Did you acquire data on your own lab's equipment or you used freely available data in the beginning?
I record my own data. I am vaguely aware of freely available datasets, in the future I would like to provide a method to auto download them and use them in the tests.
EEG.jl should be sufficient for developing scalp level network measures.
I briefly investigated this and looked at using Synchrony.jl. However, I had some issues getting the tests to pass on my machine
