Hi, I started image import, facing a strange issue. After the import it's showing
"test: Matched media 100.jpg from to object using expression "Filename with page number - page number stripped"
& it's creating a test object record with the uploaded media

Okay? So where's the problem?

my media is: 100.jpg
Shouldn't it be imported for object#100 ?
Stefan

If it's called 100.jpg it should match objects with idno=100
yes

@samrahman

yeah but it's not matching
but creating another object record called test

Hmm
Have you changed anything in the matching regexes in app.conf?

Somebody else had a similar problem not too long ago but I can't remember how (and if) that got solved

I mean within the last 2 weeks-ish
I'll try to take a look tomorrow. Also, maybe @collectiveaccess remembers what the deal was

It may very well have! We have a tendency to break things that used to work every once in a while

Yess, that's the one I'm talking about
odds are whatever changes Seth made to fix that one broke what you're trying to do

Stefan
@stefankeidel
Feb 19 2016 02:41
or you're looking at the same problem
Oh yeah, if you're not running master-fix yet, definitely give that a whirl
Sami Rahman

Feb 19 2016 02:42
do you suggest to run develop or master-fix?
Stefan
@stefankeidel
Feb 19 2016 02:43
if you're anywhere close to rolling your thing out in production, definitely master-fix
develop has some nice new features but is not necessarily stable
it's a preview for v1.7 basically -- which is probably still a few months away
master-fix previews v1.6.1

Hi @collectiveaccess @skeidel , when you're available, my providence media directory is symlinked in pawtucket. I've set few images "accessible to public as well", still not appearing in pawtucket
Any idea please what to check?
Please ignore the question, probably it was browser cache?! Now it's appearing :-D

Hi Sam
@samrahman I just tried your batch media import use case from last night with the latest master-fix code and it seems to work okay. Were you able to give that a try, too?

Hi @skeidel , yes master-fix worked just fine. Thanks!
