    @stefankeidel
    That query should work
    PMassoels
    @PMassoels
    the idno
    It doesn't i get no results but is there
    Stefan
    @stefankeidel
    just tried that exact example
    works for me
    $ curl -XGET 'http://administrator:dublincore@providence.dev/service.php/find/ca_objects?q=ca_objects.idno:FLORA_HBUG20150008'
    {"ok":true,"results":[{"object_id":"1","id":"1","idno":"FLORA_HBUG20150008","display_label":"[BLANK]"}]}
    did you change anything in your search_indexing.conf?
    PMassoels
    @PMassoels
    yes
    i'll tell you what in a second
    Stefan
    @stefankeidel
    well, you can't have it both ways
    if you omit INDEX_AS_IDNO the content will get tokenized
    PMassoels
    @PMassoels
    I want an exact match on the idno, what does the query change to that?
    Or is there a setting so i can have an exact match and still use the query?
    Stefan
    @stefankeidel
    you could try DONT_TOKENIZE -- I don't know if that's still supported though
    PMassoels
    @PMassoels
    In the query itself?
    Stefan
    @stefankeidel
    no, in the indexing configuration for idno

    @collectiveaccess that's what I figured about interstitials and the object location bundle. I'll look at the bundle and see what we can do.

    Anyone out there?
    I am wondering how to display related objects on the details page when viewing an object. Has anyone had experience with this?
    Kehan Harman
    @kehh
    I'm assuming you mean a Details screen in an object editor? You should be able to go into the object editor that you want to change and drag on either of the Related Objects or the Related Objects Table bundles that arrived in collectiveaccess/providence#235. Prior to that, the Related Objects bundle is all that will be available to you. Which installation profile are you using (or did you use as the basis of your install).

    @aasr1
    Actually I mean on the pawtucket 2 details page
    I have Providence configured to allow the assignment of related objects correct as you recommend. How can I display such on the front end?
    Kehan Harman
    @kehh
    Ah sorry, I've never ventured into Pawtucket, but try testing the templates on the new template tester on the item summary if you're having issues with templates.

    greetings

    @stefankeidel
    @aasr1 I replied to your forum thread this morning. let us know if it works!

    @aasr1
    Thank you. I posted my comment with results and next issue.

    @kehh
    @collectiveaccess I went with movements and a stripped down movement UI which actually works well for this use case. Thanks.

    Thanks for the help @stefankeidel!

    Hi Guys
    just got one ques, I put all my providence conf file in a local directory which I change (i.e. app/conf/local)
    Do I have to copy the whole file or only copying the changed lines are enough in local?
    For example, if I only change the line "object_storage_location_tracking_relationship_type" in app.conf, should I put this line in app/conf/local/app.conf? And for the other configurations will it fall back into the app/conf/app.conf file?

    @stefankeidel
    Hi Sam
    You just have to set the settings you want to override in the local file. No need to copy the whole file -- in fact, you don't want to do that because you would miss out on future upstream changes in the "base" file
    So to answer your question: Yes, it'll fall back!

    @samrahman
    That's great, thanks Stefan

    @kehh
    One additional thing @samrahman is that the associative configurations like the formats array in multipart_id_numbering.confneed to be overridden as a whole. You can also set the path to the local configuration directory in setup.php so it doesn't have to go in app/conf/local.
    Sami Rahman
    @samrahman
    thanks heaps @kehh ! Didn't know about the setup.php location.

    Hi, does anybody know, when creating a "Set" of bulk objects, can I search using object idno? Currently it seems to be only searchable by object labels
    Kehan Harman
    @kehh
    I have used that. You can also use the object search form and search for ca_objects.idno:objectA OR ca_objects.idno:objectB OR ca_objects.idno:objectC OR ca_objects.idno:objectD and then use Set tools on the left and the checkboxes to Create or add to existing sets. Can you search for objects using ca_objects.idno: on the object search form?
    Sami Rahman
    @samrahman
    ah I see, I searched using ca_objects.idno:objectA, but didn't notice I can create Set from the results
    thank you so much!
    Sami Rahman
    @samrahman
    Works like a charm. Thanks again @kehh

    IHello, I am considering using CollectiveAccess for a project I am working on. I just wanted to verify that it is capable of creating/exporting PDF finding aids. Is this true?
    light-foxing
    @light-foxing
    And are these finding aids exported in EAD? Thanks!
    Sophie
    @pinkfishies
    Hi light-foxing, the answer is yes to both questions!
