    does that not work?

    @michalfrankl
    No, that was of course my first try...

    @collectiveaccess
    what field is it?
    michalfrankl
    @michalfrankl
    Remar, it's a field we have defined added to the metadata schema.

    @collectiveaccess
    ok
    Does ^ca_objects_x_objects.relation_id display anything?
    michalfrankl
    @michalfrankl
    Yes, it returns the number.
    Strange, I'll check the metadata element and the content again.
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    Do you have any other metadata attributes configured? If so can you try outputting them?

    Hi, we currently have staff trialling our Providence system - users have been able to create sets by selecting searched objects, and then edit & delete via batch editing. However, they are unable to search for those sets back in Object > Search. See the top image in link for example: http://imgur.com/a/Cbfoe - you can see in the bottom image that the set definitely exists. Is there something I've missed in the set up? All elements relating to sets have been checked in Access Control so I'm not sure what the issue is.

    What version is this again? There were bugs around set searches in some versions but this should be fixed now

    @collectiveaccess v 1.6.1

    @0ffir_twitter
    what does that mean? any link to see how i can do it?

    by the way, do you know where can i see which installation profile i choose at the beginning of installation?

    @PMassoels Hello

    @juliaweist
    Hi @0ffir_twitter there is no way to see which profile you chose after install. You can download the profile and compare to other available profiles in a text editor application, that's probably the easiest way. If you want to do that go to Manage > Administration > Maintenance > Export configuration and that will download a profile based on your system's current set up.

    Hello. I'm trying to install CollectiveAccess Provenance on Windows 10. I am NOT a programmer and have reached an impass when trying to install Apache. (What do I do after C:/Apache24 has been populated??)
    Also, I feel almost like I'm in a late-night infomercial. "There's got to be a better way!"
    JCA3d
    @JCA3d
    Should the DOS cmd line be C:\Apache24\bin\httpd.exe rather than simply httpd.exe?
    Nowhere was the file path indicated in the help literature online or that came with Apache... Goodness, what a senseless headache!!

    Hi Julia, i managed to find it at the end! thank you!
    i have another one - MESSAGE.PO - i finnly translated all this file - after reading the documents on forums im not sure what to do next.
    Q- how can i import the Messages.PO file to the system and see the UI in my language (i translated it to hebrew)
    Offir Schramm
    @0ffir_twitter
    update: so i managed to change it from System>preference, but now im getting "could not load language" on every page... anyone know how to fix this?
    sterlingjenson
    @sterlingjenson
    @JCA3d , while this suggestion is not ideal, you might want to look into WAMP ( https://sourceforge.net/projects/wampserver/ )
    WAMP tends to be slow implementing security fixes which is why this suggestion is probably not the best idea ever; however, if you are running the program only on a local machine/network, it probably should not be a huge issue. (Please correct me if I am wrong.)
    Windows 10 also recently released BASH for Windows (i.e. you can use Ubuntu Linux commands natively within Windows) which might be an alternative, but one I have not tried.

    @JCA3d
    Thank you, @sterlingjenson. I am only planning to run Provenance on my local machine, yes. I believe I have gotten Apache installed and shall continue on. Thanks for your help all the same.

    Hi, just regards to my query on August 1, would love some help with finding out if our Providence system needs updating or has a bug (v 1.6.1) - I am trying to get staff using the system but not being able to search by sets is holding people back from testing out the system - any help would be much appreciated.

    @collectiveaccess
    Ok; send me access and I'll take a look.
    I'll be out on holiday for two weeks starting Friday, so let's try to resolve this this week!
    Offir Schramm
    @0ffir_twitter
    messages.po issue is fixed so no help needed regarding this
    BUT i keep getting "Could not load language 'he_IL' after changing language in preferences... clearing cache solve it but when changing language again it keeps happening... any help will be highly appriciated

    @collectiveaccess
    Make sure you've also created a date parser translation file in app/lib/core/Parsers/TimeExpressionParser/
    you'll see the files for the other languages in there. Clone one, change the entries to be valid for Hebrew, then save with the correct ISO code

    Hi @collectiveaccess I have sent you an email regarding accessing our system. Cheers :)

    Is it possible to get the search indexer to index the idno of the access field? It currently indexes the value of the associated list item from what I can see in the code.
    Offir Schramm
    @0ffir_twitter
    thanks @collectiveaccess - i iwll try that and let you know.
    Offir Schramm
    @0ffir_twitter
    im not quite sure what needs to be change on the .lang file...
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    @kehh No, it only index value. We could add an indexing option to allow what you want though.
    @0ffir_twitter You'll need a .lang file for Hebrew. Whether you want your dates in Hebrew or English or Italian is up to you. But there needs to be a .lang file with the he_IL ISO code, regardless of content
    Kehan Harman
    @kehh
    @collectiveaccess not to worry I think we'll be able to work around it or maybe implement that ourselves.
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    ok great

    I'm currently trying to upload a batch of PDF's into CollectiveAccess, some of which are quite large. When I try to upload a PDF that has more than 500 pages, the derivatives of the PDF cut off at the 500 page mark. I'm guessing by the roundness of the number that the system is set to do this. Is this a setting that can be adjusted in CollectiveAccess?
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    in app.conf set the document_preview_max_number_of_pages
    by default it's set to 500
    Jesse
    @blackadder78
    Thanks! That should solve it.

    In case anybody's had queries about the performance of image manipulation, I just did an import of 25000 images, and using the graphicsmagick adaptor this was estimated to take about 12 days to complete. When I installed the gmagick adaptor this came down to 6 hours, so (I know it says so in the documentation), definately try to use the gmagickadaptor.
    And on a similar note, large printed reports using dompdf were not rendering over 24 hours, but upon installing wkhtmltopdf this came down to under a minute.
