    I try to drag the file to here. But it never moves in mac.
    This is the mapping that I use for export.
    Julia
    @juliaweist
    Ok, and what is not working in this export?
    Lucy Saikhan
    @lucybbs
    this is the export information
    When I am try to import it, the system would not recognize different attribute under the element.
    it only accept first value,
    Julia
    @juliaweist
    You mean the sub-element of a container?
    Lucy Saikhan
    @lucybbs
    like video game connectivity have method and network type and bandwidth. But it shows no value when I am import it.
    exactly
    Yes.
    sometimes, subelement have several value
    Julia
    @juliaweist
    Are you targeting the specific sub-elements? The syntax for this is ca_objects.containerCode.subElementCode
    Lucy Saikhan
    @lucybbs
    the import wont understand.
    thank you!
    so I should write this way when I am exported ?
    Julia
    @juliaweist
    yes

    Think i soved it my self ;) Had to manually enter the CA_BASE_DIR parameter..

    @collectiveaccess do you know whether CA works with the 5.x version of ElasticSearch?
    Karl Becker
    @karbecker
    Hi! Sorry to be bothering again but we are going mad as we still are unable to import hierarchical list items with nonpreffered labes attached πŸ™ This can’t be too complicated, can it? Using the listItemHierachyBuilder we succeed in importing a hierarchical list but we need at least two alternate (non-preffered) labes for synonyms. How do you archive this? Please see our post in the CA Forum (http://www.collectiveaccess.org/support/forum/index.php?p=/discussion/298677/trouble-with-importing-hierarchical-list-with-attributes) Thank you!
    Kehan Harman
    @kehh
    @kbecker87 the listItemSplitter (along with the other *Splitter refineries) support a nonPreferredLabels setting, but I don't think that that allows you to specify the label type. This might be something that might need to be added to the refineries. Look in app/refineries and see if you can see anything in there.
    ThunderTurtles
    @ThunderTurtles
    @kbecker87 @kehh I just double-checked a recent mapping I did where I was importing to nonpreferred labels and Kehan is correct. "nonPreferredLabels" is the proper syntax for the refinery parameter. I'm not actually sure if there is support for setting Type from a refinery.
    Kehan Harman
    @kehh
    Just answered my own question. CA uses elasticsearch-php 2.x which works for ElasticSearch 2.x https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch-php/blob/5.0/README.md
    Karl Becker
    @karbecker
    @kehh @ThunderTurtles Thanks for your answers! We will be importing a plain hierarchical list then without any extra labels. I found that it is possible to import those as a csv into ca_list_item_labels – you just need to match the labels with the item_id of the list item. This should work for us this one time πŸ˜‰

    Hi, I have a nother question. I am trying to import word documents .docx. Im running on a windows machine and i have got it to work when im using providence-1.5.3 but not when im using the providence-1.6.3 build. I have them installed on the same machine, using the same external_applications.conf file but in the 1.5 version i get nice PDF files but in the 1.6 version i only get white placeholders for the file. The external app conf is:

    Path to Ghostscript binary ("gs" command) (http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/)

    ghostscript_app = C:\gs\bin\gswin32c.exe

    Path to ffmpeg binary (http://ffmpeg.mplayerhq.hu/)

    ffmpeg_app = /usr/bin/ffmpeg

    Path to qt-faststart binary [part of ffmpeg] (http://ffmpeg.mplayerhq.hu/)

    qt-faststart_app = /usr/local/bin/qt-faststart

    Path to dcraw binary (http://cybercom.net/~dcoffin/dcraw/)

    dcraw_app = /usr/bin/dcraw

    Path to directory containing ImageMagick binaries (http://www.imagemagick.org)

    Path to abiword binary (http://www.abisource.com/)

    abiword_app = /usr/bin/abiword

    Path to LibreOffice binary (http://www.libreoffice.org/)

    libreoffice_app = c:\LibreOffice5\program\soffice.exe

    Any tips would be much welcome!

    Hello everyone,
    I'm trying to change the allowed number of titles in the basic screen of the standatrd object editor (now it allows the title to show up only twice) . Is it possible to change that?

    Hi agin, Can someone please explain to me where this line wants to read the file (what directory)
    -env:UserInstallation=file:///tmp/LibreOfficeConversion${USER}\

    --headless --convert-to pdf:writer_pdf_Export \"-env:UserInstallation=file:///tmp/LibreOfficeConversion${USER}\" ".caEscapeShellArg($this->filepath)." --outdir ".caEscapeShellArg($vs_tmp_dir_path).(caIsPOSIX() ? " 2>&1" : ""), $va_output, $vn_return);

    expilo
    @expilo
    OK,just realized it was just a question of number of locales choosen for cataloguing.
    murchmurch
    @murchmurch
    Hi again, just anwsered my own question, if i remove this part:
    \"-env:UserInstallation=file:///tmp/LibreOfficeConversion${USER}\"
    from the import string in Office.php:
    exec($this->ops_libreoffice_path." --headless --convert-to pdf:writer_pdf_Export \"-env:UserInstallation=file:///tmp/LibreOfficeConversion${USER}\" ".caEscapeShellArg($this->filepath)." --outdir ".caEscapeShellArg($vs_tmp_dir_path).(caIsPOSIX() ? " 2>&1" : ""), $va_output, $vn_return);
    I get the import to work in a windows enviroment.
    If someone from @collectiveaccess Development team can explain to me what that part of the code does i would be a happy camper!
    Julia
    @juliaweist
    @murchmurch great!
    @expilo yes, we only allow one preferred label per record, per locale

    Morning, I have little problem when I am exporting
    How do you map a duplicate data from an attribute?
    Repeated element in one attribute.
    Julia
    @juliaweist
    If you mean that the element is repeatable, with multiple placements containing different data, you don't need to configure anything special in your export outside of specifying your desired delimiter.
    ThunderTurtles
    @ThunderTurtles
    @lucybbs @juliaweist unless you are exporting to XML (using an export mapping). In which case you can use the setting: {"repeat_element_for_multiple_values": 1}

    Hi, we are getting some trouble while importing data in to Providence (1.6.3), any help in this regard will be appreciated.
    We are using command line utility (caUtils), the import runs for about 2 hours successfully but then terminates with the following error:

    Thanks.

    Kehan Harman
    @kehh
    @naeemmuhammad that sounds like the disk partition that your mysql data directory lives on has run out of disk space.

    Hello. I have an issue with a relationship display template. I have an object/entity relationship with interstitial metadata container marc852. This container is broken down into marc852t (object lookup), marc852y/marc852h/marc852l and marc8529 (all text-items).
    I made a display template:
    <unit relativeTo="ca_entities"><l>^ca_entities.preferred_labels.displayname</l></unit><br/>
    <unit delimiter="<hr>">
    <b>Title: </b>^ca_objects_x_entities.marc852.marc852t<br/>
    <b>Bibl. Referentie boektitel: </b>^ca_objects_x_entities.marc852.marc852y<br/>
    <b>Call Number (Shelf): </b>^ca_objects_x_entities.marc852.marc852h<br/>
    <b>Number: </b>^ca_objects_x_entities.marc852.marc852l<br/>
    <b>Additional remark: </b>^ca_objects_x_entities.marc852.marc8529<br/>
    </unit>
