    @collectiveaccess I gave up on Windows. Appears to be all up and running under Ubuntu. Thanks for you help.

    Hi everyone! It is a question about importer. I tried to use occurrenceHierarchyBuilder to map an existing occurrence as parent. "idno" is parent's id which is numerical, "name" is parent's preferred label, "type" is parent's occurrence type. Outcome is the record mapped to another occurrence which is not following the mapping. Any clue? Thank you very much!
    zombabie
    @zombabie
    Some more observation: As if providence is first treating the "idno" as "occurrence_id", and if the record with this "occurrence_id" is deleted, it will map to a wrong record. If the "occurrence_id" not deleted, it will map to correct record following my "idno" + "name".....how strange.....is it a bug?

    @zombabie
    I’m using 1.7.5 just downloaded on Nov 1
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    idno needs to the identifier of the parent record, not the occurrence_id
    What you describe sounds like a bug, but I suspect it's falling back to attempting to use occurrence_id's when the idno match fails.
    This is actually intended behavior, albeit behavior that almost no one actually uses.
    I'm assuming your idno's are purely numeric – only numbers?
    zombabie
    @zombabie
    Thanks for look into my case! Yes, they are purely numeric, and
    and the idno using does exist
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    but the mis-import only happens when the numeric idno does not exist, correct?
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    @teresaazevedo08 We have pushed a fix to GitHub in the "develop" branch for the issue you reported. It'll be part of the next (1.7.6) release.

    @collectiveaccess Thank you very much!

    @zombabie
    i tried 2 parents, both numeric idno exist. One can map,one cannot
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    I thought you said it was only mis-importing when the target parent was deleted?
    zombabie
    @zombabie
    No, both exist. I just guess if the idno was treated as occurrence_id. If this is the case, one occuidno rrence_id is deleted, one is not.
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    I don't understand
    zombabie
    @zombabie
    ok, just make it simple. I
    I cannot map the numeric idno to the parent occurrence, but it exist in my records
    zombabie
    @zombabie
    will the idno be treated as occurrence_id even it exists?
    zombabie
    @zombabie
    because the idno, preferred label and event type are just copy from providence records. I don't know why one parent can map but the other cannot, provided that both exist......sorry you can ignore my question of occurrence_id if too confusing :(

    I am trying to convert from SQLSearch to ElasticSearch, and I am getting an error regarding an undeclared static property. Specifically: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Access to undeclared static property: WLPlugSearchEngineElasticSearch::$opa_doc_content_buffer in /var/www/html/testbackup/app/lib/core/Plugins/SearchEngine/ElasticSearch.php:444
    I am probably going to post this on the forums later; however, I want to make sure that I got all of the steps correct first.
    1. Install ElasticSearch
    2. Edit app.conf to read "ElasticSearch" instead of "SQLSearch"
    3. Rebuild Search Index
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    @sterlingjenson Try using the very latest "develop" branch code on GitHub. It has a fix for this.

    Hi, how do you specify the unit of length and width in Pawtucket2? An object with length = 15 cm and width = 10 cm is displayed in Pawtucket as 393700787 in 590551181 in. In Providence the values are displayed correctly as 0.15 m and 0.1 m.
    sshipley64
    @sshipley64
    Is there a way to put a NOT bool in pawtucket2 advanced search fields?
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    @ca-ubos Where are you displaying the values in Pawtucket and with what means? The code for handling dimensions is the same in both Providence and Pawtucket
    @sshipley64 Not at the moment. Make a JIRA for it if you want it, please.
    ca-ubos
    @ca-ubos
    @collectiveaccess I want them to be displayed in the ca_objects_default_html.php and I do call them with the display template ^ca_objects.measure.breite1. We have a metadata element, a container, which is called "measure" in which there are "breite1" and "laenge1" for width respective length.
    sshipley64
    @sshipley64
    is there a way to use prepopulate to add items to a set like you could another metadata field?
    sterlingjenson
    @sterlingjenson
    @collectiveaccess , even with the the development branch of providence, I am still fighting to get elasticsearch up and running
    Do you know if I should be using a particular version? Are the steps I listed correct?
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    @sshipley64 No not at the moment
    @sterlingjenson The current "develop" code should work fine. What problem are you having at the moment?
    sterlingjenson
    @sterlingjenson
    According to the log, I do not have any live nodes found in my cluster
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    @ca-ubos That sounds like a bug, but not one I've seen before
    @sterlingjenson Can you connect to Elastic directly?
    It may be your Elastic install is broken
    sterlingjenson
    @sterlingjenson
    looking at the latest entry in the log it reads, " 2017-11-22 12:24:07 - ERROR --> Elasticsearch\Common\Exceptions\RuntimeException: Could not parse host:
    "
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    @ca-ubos I will try to reproduce. What is your default locale in Pawtucket?
    @sterlingjenson Which log?
    sterlingjenson
    @sterlingjenson
    when I go to localhost:9200, it appears to be working.
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    @sterlingjenson Also make sure you have configured your Elastic connection settings properly in search.conf
    sterlingjenson
    @sterlingjenson
    ok. I will check there. I thought it looked like the connection settings were already set up there. thanks.
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    The defaults are usually fine
