    Give it a go. Not sure if the webserver needs restarting either
    Jonas Rosland
    @jonasrosland
    Shouldn't be needed, all other changes I do show up nicely.
    landing_page_collection_type = collection
    Will try and change that, see if that helps?
    Yup. that was it!
    Changed it to landing_page_collection_type = internal, all my collections show up now!

    Thank you for the help :)
    If I need to do it sometime, how do I do reindexing?
    Jonas Rosland
    @jonasrosland
    Right now I see two objects that have no connection to a collection, still show up in that collection.
    They were in there before, but were removed several days ago.

    Yes. That's the setting I was reading to. Excellent.
    You could try and reindex in Providence, under admin

    This one: "Rebuild search indices"?

    Not sure about Pawtucket. Will have a look and let you know later. I'm on a phone right now.

    That seems to have done the trick!
    The objects now show up in the correct places. Thank you again!

    My pleasure.

    Really stumped on this one. I have my Object Categories in an hierarchical list and if I enter the data via the Object Editor interface I can see the result of the entry in my Summary screen using the following code

    <if rule = "^ca_objects.type_id=~/Built Environment Object/">^ca_objects.built_environment_object.hierarchy.preferred_labels.nameplural%delimiter=➞_</if>
    The Category is chosen from the New Object list and the sub category is chosen from a drop down hierarchical list
    I am now trying to import the sub category data from an excel spreadsheet but I am battling to figure out where I should be mapping the data to for starters and what splitter I should be using in order to end up with the same result as entering via the Object Editor.
    The source data in the spread sheet is in the column form of Category-Sub Category-Primary Term-Secondary Term-Tertiary Term.
    Any pointers on how to go about mapping the data to the correct place and the splitter to use would be appreciated.
    All the other object related data imports ok.

    Hey y'all, I've been having trouble with my site going down and installed redis to fix that and it works, but only if I go straight to the IP address for the server... if I use my domain, it still gives me ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. Any tips before I go to my domain host support?

    Is that text on the screen? Or a browser error?

    Browser error, sorry wasn't clear. I've cleared my cache and cleared the CA cache but you can test: www.beckarchives.net/pawtucket
    Well now it worked...

    Maybe it just needed a minute to readjust. Sorry!

    @bib_mais_twitter -- in one of the threads, you were asking for examples of how to record the treatment of an object. Here is a screen shot of the container I use to record that information

    I probably should add a line for if the reference is a book or an article

    Is it possible to search for objects not in a collection, or not in a storage location?
    In Providence, that is.

    @jonasrosland: as in not in any collection or any storage location?

    @jonasrosland I can't see a way outside querying the db directly. Version 1.8 will have the new query builder which is pretty cool, but I couldn't get that to work for this case either. @collectiveaccess might be able to answer better.

    @jonasrosland have you looked into document on how to use the advance search index syntax : https://docs.collectiveaccess.org/wiki/Search_Syntax#Searching_for_blank_values

    @sterlingjenson: I just tried that in the advanced search and it unfortunately didn't work :(

    How can I make custom searches using ElasticSearch? I've read that it has a specific syntax but i don't know how to do it in PHP
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    Elastic uses the same Lucene query syntax as the SQL-based engine. At least from the user interface, they are supposed to work the same. You can potentially query Elastic from your code in other ways though.
    @jonasrosland You could potentially index counts of relationships and then query for those with zero relationships to find objects "not in collection X" (etc.). This is not configured by default though.
    The blank value syntax doesn't work for relationships, because relationships are not fields... there's nothing to be "blank"
    EnekoSC
    @EnekoSC
    I've seen the documentation and there is a section where it talks about the syntax but I have to use a function or something and then pass the string with the query
    Jonas Rosland
    @jonasrosland
    Trying out the basic search, I found that I can easily search for descriptions being blank. I understand from the above that I can't do that for relationships. Ok. But! Let's see here.

    Then I can filter by collection
    So, would it be possible to add a filter for "No collection"?
    CollectiveAccess
    @collectiveaccess
    Yes that's possible
    You'd have to configure a "has" browse facet
    and set it to the relevant table
    Jonas Rosland
    @jonasrosland
    That's a bit over my head at the moment. This seems like it would be a useful feature though? Searching for non-collection items to make sure they're in a collection?
    Jonas Rosland
    @jonasrosland
    I can open an issue if that would help?
