heyas. Finally caved and decided to try and come to terms with composer, as I use npm a shitload I figured it was time to stop being a sloth and not going mainstream with php.
So yeah, installed, first typed then copied and pasted the example code on the getting started page, and no dice.
the autoloader doesnt.
goddammit. the stupid thing decides to work after i add a die then remove it.

sigh. and back to the original exercise of trying to use firebase jwt and its not working.
am i supposed to run each compser file in each vendor subfolder ? surely not.

wth. i could have sworn i asked about jwts in angular, not here. my appologies.
anyway. new problem
{
    "require": {
        "firebase/php-jwt": "^4.0"
    },
    "autoload": {
        "psr-4": {"core\\": "app/core/config.php"}
    }
}
I've got that as my composer.json, and the existing project was working until i used require to get firebase in there
and now it refuses to autoload other classes the project designer lazily autoloaded.
theres a namespace "core" defined in all the files in the app/core folder, but yeah, its complaining saying that Class 'core\\Config' not found when its being used in index.php
the line in question being new \core\Config();

can still use the Firebase libs in the same file so the require autoload thing is worlking, just wondering what i need to do to make the custom class autoload.

"autoload": { "psr-4": {"core\\": "app/core/config.php"} } this seems wrong to me
the namespace should link to a folder not a file

hello all
I'm trying to use composer "scripts" property to run a shell script that has a lot of "echo" outputs to the terminal. Is there anyway to run the composer script command and return the output to the terminal?

my script commands is "bash app/install-wipay.sh &> /dev/null"
I'm not as verse with writing command line syntaxes but research says if u want to output to terminal you use this

i need to do some "git" but have no control over the composer.json but have access to composer

tbh i have no idea. composer is still an enigma to me. have gone to learning laravel-lumen as it was too hard to figure out the autoload stuff in the existing project.

lumen is pretty easier than laravel
