Do you get notifications when I edit the todo list?
(and if not, could that be a useful thing to maybe pull in here using a bot?)

I don't know if notification on issues is a good idea for this chat room, but perhaps notification on releases or something of the sort would be good. I get email notifications for most github stuff.

lol...i just googled "docops," which had stuff on the documentation sibling to devops. Then I looked for "docops gitter"...which is all about cops cause "gitter" is autocorrected as "glitter" without saying the usual no-results-for-x-showing-results-for-y

A readme with build instructions for docs is now updated: https://github.com/connectordb/connectordb.github.io/tree/0.3.0b1

Here's a more direct & clarified form of my question: Would it be helpful/desirable to, whenever be able to click/type something to show in the room (maybe privately...need to familiarize myself with gitter better to know what's possible) a snapshot of recent activity for an org with the ability to easily drill down through different views (by repo/contributor/directory/branch/issue/etc)?

Not sure if that is possible with gitter
and even if so, the purpose of gitter is as a chat room - I don't know if adding auto-bots will be useful (the information is already on github)

Agreed. I'm not a fan of having an automated system spewing stuff into a chat, though I do like the idea of grouping as much of the data for a project together for easy access. It feels lighter on my cognitive load to type "/query @whatdidpeopledoto issues recently" than alt-tab out of the gitter app into browser, open new tab, go to issues page, and sort by recently updated. I'm hoping there's a way to easily launch a bot that does that via 1:1 chats.

Perhaps all issues can be put in the connectordb repo, rather than being spread out over the subsystems?

I kind of like the separation when on github cause there's loads of other workflows people have where it's helpful. I'm not just asking with respect to this project, but I just created an org that'll have multiple repos that need to be separate & I'm thinking I'd like that functionality for myself. Was curious about your thoughts, but I can also wait to ask once I've actually got something to play with :)
