I just read connectordb.com. I dig the mission & I'm on the same one! Out of curiosity, what do you guys do for work outside of CDB?

I'm a phd student in machine learning, and joseph graduated with ms this year.

Do you have a dissertation topic you're willing to share?

My focus is causality - my dissertation is still several years away

whoa. that's pretty lofty, regardless of the context

It is a very interesting topic, one that is very promising for future ml algorithms, especially in world-modelling and reinforcement learning. It can be thought of as building a machine scientist.

I just had an idea that I suspect could predictably cause a huge economic change in the world while also improving the lives of people, which would incentivize them to participate in the system & require they participate via IoT. It might require adding Milagro support to CDB, but I'm betting that's not gonna be too difficult.

I saw the issue, though I unfortunately have extremely limited time for cdb, so my focus is getting the fundamentals working. Only once this version is released will I look at integration with other services or changing the core.
That being said, it looks like milagro is in a very early stage, so I'm not sure what the benefit would be of using it. Especially since cdb has built in https and auth

I know...I'm not sure if the idea I have is firm enough to explain concisely.
I opened the issue partially to remind me to look into integrating Milagro & CDB. And I just realized I want to open up PRs for that, instead.
Lemme see if I can draw something that explains the idea...

No problem, issues are welcome, prs even more so.
Although integrations with services (like rescuetime) would be best done in python using the python api

Oh totally. I haven't had a chance to see how to go about doing that, but will in 30 mins.
