    HM Rando
    @rando2
    :laughing:
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    Is "number of words added or edited by each author" an accurate description for Figure 3? I find that somewhat more precise than "contributed".
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    Yes!
    That sounds right to me
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    I moved the consortium author to last in latex to try to make it look a little less crazy
    but officially it is 3rd to last
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    Good move
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    Although maybe i should move it back because it's now wrong in the auto-generated citation :sob:
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    Oh yeah, that may be a problem. Not necessarily in the initial submission but in the final version.
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    We should list the consortium members somewhere. Maybe in a footnote?
    Do we only have 50 authors? I think 51 counted the Immunology Institute of the Icahn School of Medicine author, and I'm not sure whether to include or exclude that one.
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    I think it's 51 including Jeremy Kamil (who got merged in this evening)
    and I'm not sure if we should include them!
    Originally we were going to emphasize them more
    I think we are done editing on our end -- how are you looking?
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    I count 49 commas in the comma separated consortium author list, which excludes ISM and includes Jeremy Kamil
    I'm in the final paragraphs of editing
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    52 names in the metadata file, with 2 consortia
    so missing one name :sob:
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    We're missing an author in the metadata?
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    Everything actually checks out!
    We went through the whole metadata file and compared it to the alphabetical list at the end of the document and they match
    and then when I used the same python code to parse it again, i got 50 this time, which is correct!
    there are 52 "names" in the metadata file but 2 are consortia, so we're good
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    :relieved:
    I finished going through all the text
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    Awesome!!!
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    I didn't do the references. But you've been double-checking those, right?
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    I cleaned them up, I can look through and just make sure the rest seem reasonable
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    If we're planning to polish this document more before preprinting it, I'm not too concerned about it.
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    The devil's Cold Spring Harbor = bioRxiv bug is in there
    but Michael said it's only 2 citations, thank heavens
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    If we ignore the 2 consortia, can I change the text to 50 authors instead of 51?
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    Yes sure!
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    That's my last edit. I'm ready to submit to the conference.
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    Yayyy!!!
    The references could def use some cleaning but I think they're passable
    Michael Robson
    @mprobson

    The devil's Cold Spring Harbor = bioRxiv bug is in there

    :joy:

    HM Rando
    @rando2
    I'll submit now if that's ok with everyone!
    Michael Robson
    @mprobson
    :+1:
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    :rocket:
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    I filled out the submission earlier but it timed out! But I'll do it as fast as possible haha
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
    Thanks for submitting!
    I'm shocked and impressed we hit this deadline
    HM Rando
    @rando2
    Seriously thank you so much for all your work on this Tony!!!!
    It would not have come together otherwise
    I think you should have just gotten a notification!
    I had to get a little creative with the consortium author, but it's in!!!!
    I hope you have a good night Tony!!! Thank you again!!!
    Anthony Gitter
    @agitter
