is nvm per terminal session?
I've been getting this weird thing where I am reverted back to Node 0.12
I'm wondering if it happens when I change shells
Not change shells, but use a new terminal window

@matthewp: yes, it's per terminal session
@matthewp: however, you can do nvm alias default something if you want "something" to be the default on a new shell

where "something" is a node version?

a "version-ish", ie, anything nvm understands in nvm use X or nvm install X etc

ok, thanks
is there a single command that both does "use" and "default" at the same time?

nvm alias default X only has to be ever run once
after that, opening a new terminal will auto-use it
nvm use default will switch back to it later

Yeah, it sounds like the "use" workflow is for switching temporarily
Personally it's not something I do
If I switch it is to test stuff in a specific version of Node
and I have made mistakes by opening new terminals windows and assuming I'm still on the same version I switched to
But glad to know how it works now, thanks
