John Brown
@ThisIsJohnBrown
@hanleyweng: Not sure if this is what you mean, but Processing is almost entirely visual, and super powerful, while also having a very semantic language.

@hanleyweng
ah thanks @ThisIsJohnBrown , was curious about drag-and-drop like interfaces like MaxMSP, tho Processing is a wonderful suggestion.

@ThisIsJohnBrown @hanleyweng Ah, in that case, I used NodeBox 3 before for a project. It was pretty good. https://www.nodebox.net/node/

I tried out nodebox, but found it not really able to do a lot outside of dataviz work. maybe I'm wrong? or do I just need to get #creative?

@Spaxe
There is also Touch Designer, Windows only though. https://www.derivative.ca/

Hey
Jean-Michaël Celerier
@jcelerier

Hello, we are releasing a beta of the free and open-source Ossia Score sequencer and the associated
libraries for various creative environments: Max/MSP, PureData, QML, Unity3D, OpenFrameworks...

The Ossia ecosystem is about building creative applications that are
easily controllable through the network, with OSC and asssociated protocols,
and scorable in time, with the Score software.

thanks!
