<adam12> I have to sign off. Late here. Night.

is there an imagemagick library for crystal
From IRC (bridge bot)
@FromIRC
<_tsound> can you return an executable path without the executable name?
<_tsound> what i get is "/home/user/work/pname/pname"
From IRC (bridge bot)
@FromIRC
<_tsound> nvm i got it
<_tsound> Process.executable_path.to_s.chomp("/pname")
<_tsound> It's dirty, but it'll work for now

Does anyone know why crystal doesn't have an Int128 ?
Serdar Dogruyol - Sedo セド
@sdogruyol
Yeah, it doesnt for now
Cris Ward
@crisward
@sdogruyol thanks. I was going to work with IP addresses as ints, ipv6 is 128bit. It isn't a necessity for now. Good to know, thanks.

Somebody is using SublimeText crystal-lang/sublime-crystal#24
Bar Hofesh
@bararchy
Me :)
Faustino Aguilar
@faustinoaq
sublime
@bararchy Do you have crystal syntax issues?
Bar Hofesh
@bararchy
Yeha, only when using ) in def arguments
So
def (bar: String) looks good
but
def (bar: Array(Int32)) looks bad
the issue is always the first ')' in the def
I think it just thinks that it's the end of the parentesis
Serdar Dogruyol - Sedo セド
@sdogruyol
yeah
a parser issue
Bar Hofesh
@bararchy
@faustinoaq Is this a fix for it ?
I'll update my sublime package

@bararchy crystal-lang/sublime-crystal#24 is not a complete fix but it helps coloring all parens

<adam12> I'm not super familiar with LLVM but I wonder what makes these triples differ. x86_64-unknown-freebsd11.0 vs x86_64-portbld-freebsd

What is the difference between crystal deps and shards install?
Johannes Müller
@straight-shoota
crystal deps calls shards install, shards install does not :smirk:
From IRC (bridge bot)
@FromIRC
<oprypin> @kazzkiq, shards install is a newer development. crystal deps used to be something else, became a redirect to shards install

I have a NamedTuple that may or may not have some of its keys, how do I create such "dynamic" NamedTuple?
I'm trying something like that, without success:
data = NamedTuple.new(name: String, nickname: String)

data[:name] = name.to_s if name #only assign if name exists
data[:nickname] = nickname.to_s if nickname #only assign if nickname exists
