@danascheider @maxmeyer we used to have canned step defs for web apps similar ot aruba, but we realised they were encouraging bad practice and removed them: http://aslakhellesoy.com/post/11055981222/the-training-wheels-came-off
@danascheider can you push the code somewhere I can play with it?

@aslakhellesoy @atilaneves seems to work on cucumber in D https://github.com/atilaneves/unencumbered
@atilaneves It might be worth that you've got a look at https://github.com/cucumber/gherkin3 the next gen gherkin parser and add support for D ;-)

We’re working on a small 500 SLOC reference implementation for Cucumber. It will use Gherkin3 and serve as a model for people who want to write official Cucumber implementations

@aslakhellesoy Is it a ruby implementation?
@mattwynne Ah, sure. I remember that I read something about it. But I totally forgot it.

@mattwynne @danascheider "an acceptance testing tool rather than an integration testing tool" ... oh and I thought that cucumber was a collaboration tool: https://cucumber.io/blog/2014/03/03/the-worlds-most-misunderstood-collaboration-tool

Nowadays I explain Cucumber as a “Tool to test that the entire team has the same understanding"

@mattwynne I think I did push it to the branch with the PR. Should I push somewhere else?

@aslakhellesoy @brasmusson Makes sense. I'm running a one-person startup, so I tend to lose sight of the collaboration piece. I use Cucumber because (1) I find the narrative style useful as an organizing force for my workflows and (2) it acts as a sanity check to keep me connected to the real wprld
Sorry, phone keypad sucks!
