Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
The last couple versions of 3.0 support it.
Marcos Felipe Souza Pinto
@MarcosJava
Is Charts version 3.0 running in iOS 7 ??? . I have to support iOS 7
Marcos Felipe Souza Pinto
@MarcosJava
It isn't . I saw in github
iOS >= 8.0 (Use as an Embedded Framework)
I don't know what I do and how to do now.
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
We never supported iOS 7 as an embedded framework since it isn’t possible. If you support iOS 7 now you have copied the source to your project no?
Marcos Felipe Souza Pinto
@MarcosJava
No, I use Charts 2.1.6
I used Charts 2.1.6 in Xcode 7 ... There was update for Xcode 8 and we continue with Charts 2.1.6 , but with update Xcode9, Charts 2.1.6 doesn't accept Swift 2 and Charts doesn't have code with Swift 3 or above with support iOS 7 . I will try Charts Demo :)
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
We don’t say we support iOS 7 because iOS 7 doesn’t support embedded frameworks. That has always been the case. Even with charts 2, to support iOS 7 you had to include the source in your project.
iOS 7 is barely used anymore you should be fine to bump it to 8
Marcos Felipe Souza Pinto
@MarcosJava
I want it , I want support iOS 8 + . This is marketing and business's decision at company.
I fought about it .. They say about WhatsApp, Facebook and others apps those give support for iOS 7 and why not us ?
So Thanks . Thanks very much...
Marcos Felipe Souza Pinto
@MarcosJava
Pierre-Marc . I got it !
I downloaded Charts 3.0.4 and I changed the target for iOS 7 and Puumm , Its working .... I builded and Deployed my project for TestFlight with Charts. \o/
Those were my solutions for using Charts in Xcode 9 and supported iOS 7 :)
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
It’s not hard but it caused a lot of people opening issues so we just say we require ios 8. Embedded frameworks are easier to work with.
Dmitry Tumanov
@dtumanov
hi everyone, I'm stuck... when I write "import Charts" it can't fine the module
I had dragged the project file into my existing project, added the Embedded Library
running latest Xcode
I am using the latest Master for Charts
Dmitry Tumanov
@dtumanov
@kane__punter_twitter Have you been able to import? If yes, how?
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
You can look at how the demo project is setup it is setup using the project file like you mentioned.
Dmitry Tumanov
@dtumanov
@petester42 I've done this a number of times. If I create a new Swift project and then add the Charts - everything works well. But if I try to follow the same steps by adding it to my existing projects, the import does not see the module.
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
Is it a swift or objc project?
Dmitry Tumanov
@dtumanov
it started of as objc project, now 99% of code is Swift
I am trying to include it into a Swift code
is there a setting I need to flip?
Dmitry Tumanov
@dtumanov
I've even removed my bridge header and deleted the rest of the objective-c files, still the same issue
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
I really have no idea sorry. Start a new project and add all you files again. There must be a setting but I don’t know it.
Not really related to our library though.
Marcos Felipe Souza Pinto
@MarcosJava
My project is
My project is being rejected because of bitcode enabled by apple, what do I do?
I’ve done bitecode true/false and Apple Reject my app :worried:
When I will get to work tomorrow I will print the screen for us :+1:
Marcos Felipe Souza Pinto
@MarcosJava
I was already forgetting to mention that the bitecode error in the Charts: /
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
The error is because it has it on or off?
Marcos Felipe Souza Pinto
@MarcosJava
The both
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
If you find out why pull requests are welcome. Seems weird though that both don’t work.

In ItunesConnect : Guideline 2.1 - Performance - App Completeness We were unable to review your app as it crashed on launch. We have attached detailed crash.
In the detailed crash has this message above.
Marcos Felipe Souza Pinto
@MarcosJava
I changed the version app ,
I set Embedded Binaries with Charts.Framework
I set in ItunesConnect for dont use bitecode and Gone !!!! App in Store with Charts \o/
I had done thousands change in the project and this workedd ! Thanks
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
Did the solution involve changing anything in our code or it only on your app’s side?
Xuan
@liuxuan30
@danielgindi could you add @jjatie in? He's contributing a lot for swift changes. Github has introduces "projects" tab so we can manage PRs much easier, but @jjatie does not have access to add/edit them. He'd be happy to join us.
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
It would be much easier if the repo was part of an organization
Xuan
@liuxuan30
@danielgindi please see this message
Xuan
@liuxuan30
@danielgindi please add @jjatie in ChartRealm as well :)
Pierre-Marc Airoldi
@petester42
Move the repos to an org!
James Sayer
@jsayer7_twitter
Is there a reference document for this project? I'm looking to integrate Charts into my app. However, my data values are strings and integers, and can't seem anything online that would say this is supported
James Sayer
@jsayer7_twitter
For instance, I have weather data for the next hour..My X Axis is actually a date (can be a string even, just not a double), and I have an array of precipitation probabilities (can be either string or doubles). I can't seem to get this data to display
Because it complains that the times are not doubles
