    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Do you know whether GitHub has some kind of mailing-list functionality?
    Because that's something that was actually looking for some time ago
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    not that I know of, no
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Right now ppl open up issues for (simple) questions ... and ML are excellent for those kind of things (this channel probably works too)
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    this channel is ok, if there is someone available all the time... not sure it will work for that really
    have to try the notifications function... might be better
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    didn't plan to be available all the time but at least it's a directer form of communication then only msg on commits/pull-requests/etc
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    true... I've missed some sort of direct communication as well
    direct message to developer would be nice to have
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    indeed.
    the only way I have found thus far is get someones email address from the commit message ... but that doesn't feel right
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    it doesn't, no
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    maybe I'll suggest to GitHub to create sth like PMs and/or ML functionality. I can't be the only one who'd want that.
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    I was just thinking that ML functionality might be a nice external product, like this gitter thing :)
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    yep, it does.
    github help doesn't have any info on mailing lists, so I'm pretty sure it doesn't support it.
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Hi goranche! No idea if you're still wandering here, but if you do ... I plan to work on the pull requests next week
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    even when I'm not, I get an email notification, so this actually seems to be a good way of communicating ;)
    and cool about the PRs, I'll be away till sunday anyway (going scuba diving :angel: ), so great :D
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    scuba diving is awesome, have fun!
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    oh yeah, it is :) will do ;)
    thanks
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Do you have an idea why v1.0.x and master aren't the same according to https://github.com/debian-pi/raspbian-ua-netinst/branches?
    A git diff v1.0.x..master returns nothing, thus they are the same ...
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    I think there are different commits in the two branches, even though they end up being the same
    if you open the v1.0.x branch and do a compare with master, you'll see there are not changes, but there is one more commit (probably should have done the compare the other way around) - https://github.com/debian-pi/raspbian-ua-netinst/compare/v1.0.x
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Yep, noticed that too. And then you get offered to do a pull request ... which essentially reverses the situation.
    But it looks like things are fixed with the latest merge \o/
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Hi goranche! When will you be able to review my pull requests?
    I've merged the documentation PRs myself, since they were really trivial and I got way too many branches LOL
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    hi... I've seen quite some activity, but was busy with codeweek, changing job, moving (well, haven't started that yet, have to find an apartment first) :D
    I'll try to review them (or at least some) tomorrow :+1:
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Excellent, thanks :smile:
    PR #141 is IMO rather simple and a dependency of another (more will come LOL).
    And PR #143 will be a dependency of one to come (which will be rather big/complex).
    So if you could prioritize those, that would be much appreciated.
    And of course it's not a problem if/when you're too busy with other stuff. But when it will be for a longer period of time, it would still not be an issue, but it would be useful for me to know then so I can prioritize things accordingly :+1:
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    I'll take a look at those two in the evening :wink:
    maybe even more, but those two will be first :D
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    :smiley:

    @diederikdehaas
    I plan to release v1.0.6 pretty soon, maybe even tomorrow. Objections?
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    can't think of anything, no
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Excellent. I've updated the changelog for v1.0.6 and build the images.
    Now I'm testing them on a B and B+ in a couple of configurations. If no errors pop up, I'll tag it and create the release
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    :+1: when they're tagged, I'll try it out on a B+... don't have any B anymore :D
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    The test with no special configuration went fine on both. The test on the B+ with little configuration (mostly jessie) went fine as well and am now running that test on the B.
    After that I'll do a test with usbroot=1 on the B+. If that goes fine, I'll tag it.
    I'd like to configure notifications to send me an email when a msg gets posted. How have you configured that? Because I didn't get notifications for your msgs
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    I've tagged v1.0.6 :smile:
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Do you want to test/review it before creating the release on debian-pi or should I publish it on debian-pi now?
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    I'm not sure how/where I set it up, but after a certain delay (an hour?) I get an email... will try to find it
    if I'm not mistaken, you tagged it already, right? :) I hope I'll be in my "office" later in the day and be able to try it out
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    well... update.sh started :D
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    I miss my extensions :D
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    otherwise, it works quite nicely... not sure about the speed, though... it felt slow to install...
    might be my internet connection at the time, but I don't think so... will have to try a bit more
