    @goranche
    thanks

    @diederikdehaas
    Do you have an idea why v1.0.x and master aren't the same according to https://github.com/debian-pi/raspbian-ua-netinst/branches?
    A git diff v1.0.x..master returns nothing, thus they are the same ...
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    I think there are different commits in the two branches, even though they end up being the same
    if you open the v1.0.x branch and do a compare with master, you'll see there are not changes, but there is one more commit (probably should have done the compare the other way around) - https://github.com/debian-pi/raspbian-ua-netinst/compare/v1.0.x

    @diederikdehaas
    Yep, noticed that too. And then you get offered to do a pull request ... which essentially reverses the situation.
    But it looks like things are fixed with the latest merge \o/

    @diederikdehaas
    Hi goranche! When will you be able to review my pull requests?
    I've merged the documentation PRs myself, since they were really trivial and I got way too many branches LOL

    @goranche
    hi... I've seen quite some activity, but was busy with codeweek, changing job, moving (well, haven't started that yet, have to find an apartment first) :D
    I'll try to review them (or at least some) tomorrow :+1:
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Excellent, thanks :smile:
    PR #141 is IMO rather simple and a dependency of another (more will come LOL).
    And PR #143 will be a dependency of one to come (which will be rather big/complex).
    So if you could prioritize those, that would be much appreciated.
    And of course it's not a problem if/when you're too busy with other stuff. But when it will be for a longer period of time, it would still not be an issue, but it would be useful for me to know then so I can prioritize things accordingly :+1:

    @goranche
    I'll take a look at those two in the evening :wink:
    maybe even more, but those two will be first :D

    I plan to release v1.0.6 pretty soon, maybe even tomorrow. Objections?
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    can't think of anything, no
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Excellent. I've updated the changelog for v1.0.6 and build the images.
    Now I'm testing them on a B and B+ in a couple of configurations. If no errors pop up, I'll tag it and create the release
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    :+1: when they're tagged, I'll try it out on a B+... don't have any B anymore :D
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    The test with no special configuration went fine on both. The test on the B+ with little configuration (mostly jessie) went fine as well and am now running that test on the B.
    After that I'll do a test with usbroot=1 on the B+. If that goes fine, I'll tag it.
    I'd like to configure notifications to send me an email when a msg gets posted. How have you configured that? Because I didn't get notifications for your msgs
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    I've tagged v1.0.6 :smile:
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Do you want to test/review it before creating the release on debian-pi or should I publish it on debian-pi now?
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    I'm not sure how/where I set it up, but after a certain delay (an hour?) I get an email... will try to find it
    if I'm not mistaken, you tagged it already, right? :) I hope I'll be in my "office" later in the day and be able to try it out
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    well... update.sh started :D
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    I miss my extensions :D
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    otherwise, it works quite nicely... not sure about the speed, though... it felt slow to install...
    might be my internet connection at the time, but I don't think so... will have to try a bit more
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    what extensions?
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    user creation, SSH key setup, sudo setup, ... :)
    I need to create a new merged branch for my use
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    that's all part of v1.1.x (not v1.0.x) :wink:
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    I know... but I still miss it :angel:
    I'll probably be trying this out on my RPi (I'm again on only one... sigh)
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    oh, shoot... no, I will not... forgot Ubuntu doesn't run on RPi...
    back to the beaglebone black it is... :D
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    did you see the new raspberry pi 2? :)
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    I just saw the message about it ... and ordered one :smile:
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    There's even a Ubuntu Snappy Core image for it :-P
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    yup... I have one ordered as well... and of course, Snappy is one of the first things I'm going to try out ;)
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    What makes the Snappy so interesting (for you)?
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    want to try it out, it might be an excellent match for a consumer grade product I'm building :)
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    Oh cool!
    I hope I'll get an idea for a consumer product some day too. I like deepening my knowledge of linux/debian by developing the net installer, but having a product would make it much easier to explain my enthousiasm for the RPi to friends :wink:
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    I know the feeling... ;)
    Diederik de Haas
    @diederikdehaas
    IIUC a Snappy image is like a Docker image. So why choose Snappy over Docker? Or am I missing the main benefit of Snappy images (quite possible)?
    Goran Blažič
    @goranche
    not really... it creates two different copies of the whole system, so upgrade-ing should always (except for hardware errors) work, no matter what
