    @NicolasRitouet
    well, you have the dpd-cli that contains the new version of the core: https://github.com/deployd/deployd-cli
    the new core (without client-lib, dashboard and cli) is located on the next branch: https://github.com/deployd/deployd/tree/next
    it has not been released yet
    but as I said, you can already use it from the new cli

    is there a release management system for issues and features in Github repo , that can be moved to different releases?
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    regarding 1.0, it's already released as beta
    what do you mean by working on videos? like youtube tutorials? sounds great :)
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    and finally, we used to have a release plan for each version. We created a milestone on github, but it needs some gardening: https://github.com/deployd/deployd/milestone/9

    Hello devs.. Any idea how to implement group chat system using deployd and emit.. How do you emit the message to a particular group of users.. I tried the emit(dpd.users,{id:userid}, 'message', this) but doesn't seem to work.. It's not emitting the msg.. Any help on this is much appreciated as I've been working on this since last week.

    @kkrishnan90
    Guys... Is this forum dead?? Someone to help me out or please revise your documentation. I've been seeing the same old documentation for about a year now.. Please someone help me out..
    I suppose deployd is still an ongoing project with a major release of 1.0.0 as mentioned by @NicolasRitouet

    @kkrishnan90 this channel is meant for contributor work, if you can't get an answer, maybe rephrase your question or provide some code sample (jsfiddle or a gist)
    you should ask on #deployd/deployd
    kkrishnan90
    @kkrishnan90
    I completely understand @NicolasRitouet but I tried raise my query there too.. unfortunately didn't get any responses.. and few codes from the one mentioned in the doc doesn't seem to work nor clearly stated.. That's the reason I posted here. Apologies

    @andreialecu
    so I made some changes recently to both deployd and dpd-dashboard
    I removed the obsolete bootstrap less files from dpd-dashboard, since they weren't even compiling any more and changed them to scss (same bootstrap 2.0 version though), and released that as dpd-dashboard 1.0
    I think dpd-dashboard and dpd-clientlib should keep version numbers in sync with deployd
    and then there's this: deployd/deployd#832
    which is pretty exciting I think and we could release/tag 1.1.0 for it
    ping @NicolasRitouet :)
    kkrishnan90
    @kkrishnan90
    @andreialecu can dpd-clientlib used in angular 4 project.. basically I'm building an ionic 3 app.. so just wanted to ask if it supports since ionic supports loading npm modules
    kkrishnan90
    @kkrishnan90
    @andreialecu great job on the dashboard and client libs though...
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    @andreialecu thx for your PRs

    @kkrishnan90 I added some best practices into a readme just now which kind of references that. you should use the native angular http modules to interface with deployd
    and something like https://github.com/bougarfaoui/ng-socket-io for the socket stuff
    kkrishnan90
    @kkrishnan90
    @andreialecu great work !!!
    kkrishnan90
    @kkrishnan90
    @andreialecu you have mentioned in the best practices on readme with this point
    emit to users type calls that return multiple results (eg: emit(dpd.users, {active: true}, 'postModified', this);) are inefficient and should be avoided. Instead you should join sessions to rooms and emit to rooms instead. See PR 698 for more info.
    But according to script.js inside deployd core.. if there are 3 arguments like emit(roomname,event,data).. this doesn't emit to users. I even tried it yesterday ...
    Any help on this is much appreciated.
    Not to mention that I call session.joinRoom(roomname) in OnLogin

    Hey guys.m just recently went through an article about Pushpin which can turn any RESTApi to Realtime APIs.. wondering if this can be integrated to deployd. That way we will have a firebase like realtime API..
    PV
    @moorthi07
    @kkrishnan90 you can publish it as a dpd-firebase-pushbin plugin module
    kkrishnan90
    @kkrishnan90
    @moorthi07 I'll check that out. Been held up for a while. Might take this up during holidays next week..

    Hey devs! I've been playing with the codes of deployd library now and I wish to commit a few PRs if I implement any useful feature .. I would like which file should I touch to allow underscores in naming my properties in a collection.
    Any updates on this one is highly appreciated ! Thanks to all in advance !

    Thanks guys ! I've sorted this issue myself and commented on GitHub too. Kindly confirm I can send a PR for the same.
