    @andreialecu
    I haven't downloaded/used it, but if you want ease of use, it can just come prepackaged there
    the newbie doesn't have to care that they're separate packages
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    that’s right
    that’s why I also think it’s doable to separate both
    Nicolas Ritouet

    @NicolasRitouet
    @andreialecu I rebased your PR for bluebird, thx
    going to sleep now
    bye
    Andrei Alecu
    @andreialecu
    guys, so deployd lets you use cross domain requests to it from any originating domain
    this means that anyone can do a get on something like yourapp.com/users/me and if you're already logged in, they'll have unlimited access from any domain
    we need to lock that down before it starts becoming a problem for people
    instead of trusting whatever the originating host is, that needs to be explicitly set by configuration
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    true
    Andrei Alecu
    @andreialecu
    so I think this means it definitely cannot be used in production for public sites at the moment
    what was the url of your heroku sample app?

    @ericfong is it done: deployd/dpd-email#10 ?
    can you release a new version?
    @andreialecu your thoughts on this: deployd/deployd#138 ?
    regarding the latests PR you sent
    Andrei Alecu
    @andreialecu
    yeah I was thinking about that
    need to make the cookie expiration configurable
    it can be done easily, I'll add it on top of my other PR for session refactor
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    ok
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    @ericfong the doc for this is outdated right? http://docs.deployd.com/docs/using-modules/official/s3.html
    ?
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    @/all I need some help for the documentation: deployd/docs#26 and deployd/docs#40
    once this is done, I can finally release
    this will be pretty useful to test
    Eric Fong
    @ericfong
    Will fix the docs tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    just to let you know, I’m waiting for Jeffrey Cross to validate the email I want to send along the release to the deployd community
    once he validates it, I’ll finally release
    hopefully in the next few days
    apparently, Jeff will have a week off and wants to work on deployd, maybe we can all have a chat and discuss about the future of Deployd
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet

    @NicolasRitouet
    looks like we’re not ready for iojs and node 0.12 yet: https://travis-ci.org/NicolasRitouet/deployd/jobs/51213006
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    the CLI is a pain in the ass, can you guys think about a new workflow to replace it (official yeoman generator? just separate the CLI and the core? anything else?) @/all
    Andrei Alecu
    @andreialecu
    I think we should go by yeoman generator or a cli update that creates a server.js with deployd and express
    and then you can just start that with node
    not sure why this was tagged as need pr, I think you can close it: deployd/deployd#505
    Eric Fong
    @ericfong
    Closed
    I would like to totally remove service.__resourceCache ( deployd/deployd@6e7654e ). We may end up with another CLI wrapper for nodemon. If we need a CLI anyway, I suggest separate the CLI from the core instead of yo
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    Well,, we can have both
    I'm working on a yeoman generator anyway
    Nicolas Ritouet
    @NicolasRitouet
    hey @/all
    regarding this issue: deployd/deployd#406
    @ericfong proposed this one: deployd/deployd#490
