does the conda install also install the test data?
or should we just provide a wget command to grab the data if user's want to try it out?

Conda appears not to include the test directory. Even if it did it would be in a very wacky place (e.g. /Users/labuser/anaconda2/pkgs/ipyrad-0.1.37-2/lib/python2.7/site-packages/ipyrad/tests), nasty path.

yeah... let's just tell users how to find the data in the tutorials
do Mac's have the wget command?

Docs are looking very solid! I'm going to work on documenting the CLI. One thing i'm thinking is we should make it simple for CLI users to navigate to the docs they need, since API users will be more able to figure it out.

Is there a reason the current docs are in a separate branch?
I just did a git pull on master and didn't get the new versions, then i did it again like 3 times cuz i thought i'd get different results (definition of insanity). Then i realized it's on a docs branch, lol

just cuz I was too lazy to build the docs locally, and so I was pushing the changes to github on every little change I made to see it take place, and I thought it might be annoying to see 300 separate tiny pushes to master.

cool. np.
What's the trick for getting rtd to rebuild from github?
sorry, still trying to figure it out..
I made a change, pushed and it's not showing up in rtd, feels like there's a step i'm missing.

I have it set right now to build the docs branch
should I change it back to master?
it also takes about a minute to build after pushing.
You can check the status of the builds at: https://readthedocs.org/projects/ipyrad/builds/
I added the username isaacovercast as a maintainer on the project. I assume that's you...
